NEXTRUSH UNPLUGGED:  SATURDAY NIGHT VERSION  NEWSDUMP UPDATE SAUDI OIL PRODUCTION  HALVED BY DRONE STRIKE

SATURDAY NEWSDUMP UPDATE

BREAKING NEWS:

Two major Saudi oil facilities hit by explosions and set ablaze early Saturday morning in what Iranian backed Houthi rebels are calling an attack launched by 10 drones.

REUTERS AND THE WALL STREET JOURNAL ARE REPORTING WITH SOURCES SAYING THAT SAUDI ARABIA'S OIL OUTPUT HAS BEEN REDUCED BY HALF.

The Houthis have been launching attacks on Saudi Arabia, which has been leading a military coalition fighting on the side of Yemen's government against the Houthis with support from the United States and United Kingdom.

The United Nations issued a report recently saying that both sides in Yemen's civil war and associated countries including the US may be guilty of participating in war crimes.

This morning's Houthi attacks hit facilities of Aramco in northeastern Saudi Arabia, a key oil producing region.

Saudi government media say the fires caused by the explosions are being controlled.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blaming Iran for the attack.

The Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif  says that with Israel spying on the United States, it doesn't need any enemies.  Zarif's mocking tweet the latest push back from the Iranians in the midst of the economic warfare being applied against them as was applied against Japan in 1940 and 1941.

After leaving his job as National Security Adviser, John Bolton is back in action as head of two political action committees and endorsing five Republicans for re-election in 2020.

Senators Tom Cotton of Arkansas, Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Cory Gardner of Colorado on that list.   Congressmen Lee Zeldin of New York and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois also being backed by Bolton.

"We are happier now that he is gone.   Why should I go to his funeral?   I don't have fuel"

The words of one man on the streets of Harare, Zimbabwe while in a stadium with only 25 percent of its 60,000 seats being used, former President Robert Mugabe was given glowing eulogies Saturday as a "hero" and a leader of "liberation" in his country.

His rise to power signified the end of white rule in the country, but began a slow downward journey into economic chaos and repression of the opposition.

Food and fuel shortages, beatings and killings by police and "war veterans" militia groups and other evils would come to signify the rule of Robert Mugabe.

Three days to go before Israel's second election this year and President Trump weighing in on Twitter today saying in part:

"I had a call today with Prime Minister Netanyahu to discuss the possibility of moving forward with a Mutual Defense Treaty between the United States and Israel......."

Netanyahu's Likud neck and neck with main opposition Blue and White Party in late polling.   The "Right" and "Left" blocks both short of the 61 seats needed for a majority government.

The man in the middle is Avigdor Lieberman of the Israel Beiteinu (Israel Our Home) Party who was unwilling to join in a government after April's election with Netanyahu.

The elephant in the room following the election the indictments of Prime Minister Netanyahu in three corruption cases.

An evidence review hearing in the indictments will be held in early October.

A statement released by the White House today with President Trump saying that the son of Osama Bin Laden. Hamza Bin Laden, has been killed in a US military operation in the "Afghanistan/Pakistan region".

Hamza Bin Laden considered to be a successor to his father as leader of the Al-Qaeda organization not to be confused with the broader Al Qaeda movement that carries on around the world in places like northwestern Syria often with the support of the United States and other Western nations.

Here we are in this together, all of us.    On the other side of the Atlantic there is Brexit and Peter Hitchens talked about Brexit from his perspective in a half hour podcast at this link....HERE

Peter looks for compromise and Boris Johnson is aiming for a "deal".   That what's Johnson says.

"Deal"

Who do we know that uses that word?

But its a sellout as Nigel Farage is warning people about but the outcome of the drama now going on points to a "compromise" with maybe an election to follow the sealing of the deal.

The Queen will likely roll out a "Johnson Agenda" next month with her "Throne Speech" talking about anything and everything but Brexit touching the hot buttons with focus group tested phrases on crime and the health care system among other things.

All of it designed to get the voters whooped up and distracted to vote for the Tories after the sellout.

Election campaigning coming to a close in Israel and just beginning in Canada where the vote is October 21st.

I guess I go to Israel another siren malfunction reported tonight.   This time in Haifa.  In the south of Israel false alarms of incoming rockets several days ago but in one case the sounding of the sirens ended up accompanying an Israeli attack by air in Gaza.

A deadlocked election situation with the:

"Kingmaker of Israel"

being Avigdor Lieberman, Russian immigrant political leader, channeling secular resentment of religious Israelis.     He was angered by the draft law for religious Israelis citing it as a reason not to join a government with Benjamin Netanyahu after the April election leading to this election.

Lieberman holding cards right now and appearing to be in a position to keep holding them after the election as Bibi Netanyahu faces the:

"fight of his life"

The indictments in three separate corruption cases come in the aftermath of this election and Netanyahu's ability to use the Knesset (Parliament) to fight the Attorney General and judiciary of Israel over the indictments and any fallout like a judicial order to resign for example, that's what Mr. Lieberman appears to have the deciding votes for if the results echo the polling data.

President Trump tweeting Mutual Defense Pact talks with Israel after the election to tweak Mr. Netanyahu's support IMHO.

We move to Canada and Ezra Levant made the point of how weak a leader Justin Trudeau was in his meeting with Donald Trump the other week and the conservative Levant is contradicted by Trump on Twitter.

WOW!

Another Donald Trump endorsement of a foreign leader even before the campaign started this last week.

Canada used to be part of the British Empire but as the UK declined the country had to change its flag from the Union Jack, its national anthem from "God Save The Queen" and so on.

Canada looking southward and its huge trade with the USA and Justin Trudeau's father kissing up to Richard Nixon in the midst of Watergate in May 1973.     Here's the call.....TRUDEAU-NIXON MAY 11, 1973

Five political parties on the playing field in Canada for the October 21st election.

The Liberal Party of big business, always was and always will be regardless of the emotional propaganda against it.   Business-government collusion like SNC Lavalin proving that going into this election.

The Conservative Party leading the opposition with its leader Andrew Scheer.  The old name was Progressive Conservative and its seems the appropriate name for this new outfit that specializes in excluding those who believe in anything "Conservative" and that includes media like Ezra Levant's Rebel Media.

The socialists of the New Democratic Party now mellowed to a mainstream business funded mainstream party.

That's driven the Left towards the Green Party as an alternative.

The new kid on the block now excluded from leadership debates during the campaign the People's Party of Canada and its leader who lost the Conservative Party leadership race to Mr. Scheer, Maxime Bernier.

Bernier with a more popular-populist message.

TOMMY ROBINSON FREED, TALKS ABOUT BEING NEAR JULIAN ASSANGE IN PRISON

Well it was haircut time for Tommy Robinson after he got out of HMP Belmarsh, the British Gitmo, on Friday.

Here's the video......TOMMY ROBINSON FREEDOM HAIRCUT 9/13/2019

Now the Tommy Robinson interview is available with Ezra Levant and you can hear firsthand from Tommy about his prison experience and more.

One thing Tommy said was:

"The only prisoner I saw on two separate occasions was Julian Assange"

Tommy explained being held in a separate section of the prison near the health care area where Assange was being cared for.   Tommy had a cell with an exercise bike next door to use and a shower down his hallway where he was segregated from other prisoners.

It was as Tommy was in the exercise yard outside that he shouted the two conversations with Assange who was in a health ward cell above it.

Ah yes the music from the 1940's when the San Fernando Valley was the countryside outside of Los Angeles when you exited the new highway being called the Hollywood Freeway.

I never read the book "The Handmaid's Tale" published in the 1980's but I did see the movie and was struck by the hypocritical "Commander" character played by the great Robert Duvall.

Bob Duvall has played positive spiritual characters but he's also played religious hypocrite characters like the original Major Frank Burns in the movie "M*A*S*H" in the 1960's.

I'm a big time religious hypocrite using the Lord's name in vain the way I've lived my life.

Getting back to Margo Atwood's original book Peter Hitchens found it "clever" but the TV show, the new book by Atwood, the hype smells of something sinister.

All that and more in Hitchens column this weekend....LINK

Getting back to me a life of intoxicated hypocrisy my friends I can't begin to describe,  God help me to make amends and repent and move in a better way.

Indeed may I add what will Benjamin Netanyahu do in the face of the indictments that follow the election in Israel?
