NEWS SUMMARY-INTELLIGENCE REPORT TUESDAY 4/30-WEDNESDAY 5/1/2019

(WORK IN PROGRESS WITH UPDATES, ADDITIONS EDITING ETC. POSSIBLE THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING)

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer say the Democrats are moving forward with President Trump in agreement on spending some 2 trillion dollars on "infrastructure".

Pelosi and Schumer met with the President at the White House Tuesday.

Wednesday had been declared to be a day of nationwide peaceful protest in Venezuela to remove the regime of Nicolas Maduro from power.

But there were surprise developments Tuesday.

Interim President Juan Guaido appeared with soldiers at an air base near Caracas Tuesday morning with Guaido saying:

"At this moment I am meeting with the main military units of our armed forces, beginning the final phase of Operation Freedom"

The Interim President who is also the President of the elected National Assembly said that he has the support of "brave soldiers".

Guaido appeared with detained political leader Leopoldo Lopez, who had been freed by Venezuela's military.

Mr. Guaido called for a peaceful and democratic transition of power supported by the military.

The Maduro regime moved quickly shutting down social media in the country and calling militia units onto the streets.   Foreign news channels were removed from cable television in the country.

Members of the military wearing blue armbands in support of Juan Guaido were visible in the area of the La Carlota airbase with

As the day moved on protesters in the streets and forces loyal to Maduro clashed in the streets of Caracas with Maduro claiming to have the support of the military while Guaido said there was no turning back in taking action to remove Maduro from power.

The total number of wounded in Caracas Tuesday is reported to be 109.

Guaido speaking to a rally in the streets early Tuesday afternoon.

At first the Maduro regime said it was dealing with "small coup" but admitted by afternoon that it had only "partially defeated" it.

President Trump warning Cuba against propping up Venezuela's Maduro regime threatening tougher sanctions.

Nicolas Maduro spoke Tuesday evening in a rambling speech saying that coup plotters had been arrested and were being interrogated.

Juan Guaido also spoke Tuesday evening saying his efforts are not a coup but a "peaceful rebellion".   He also said that the entire country must be on the streets Wednesday and that Maduro does not have the support of the military.

An extradition hearing for Wikileaks founder Julian Assange set for Thursday at Westminster Magistrates Court in London.

The United States ostensibly wants Assange for hacking a computer according to the Justice Department but other charges lurk in the wings including the notion of espionage.

Assange appeared for a sentencing hearing Wednesday morning at 1030 am at Southwark Crown Court in London.    He was sentenced for 'failure to surrender' while seeking and obtaining political asylum.    His sentence 50 weeks.

He is eligible for the death penalty but the San Diego County District Attorney is not committing yet to asking for death in the case.

Fear of violence in Paris during May Day demonstrations Wednesday.    Black uniformed anarchists expected in among the usual trade unionists and left-wing protests.

3000 CRS riot police and mobile gendarmes are mobilized as part of a total police mobilization of 7400 in the French capital.

A late report from BFM-TV says that three Spanish citizens were arrested in Paris with incendiary devices Wednesday morning.

As of 715 am Eastern time US this morning 165 arrests in Paris with clashes between "black blocs" and police.

Word from the White House is that the United States is moving forward with plans to declare the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization.

Such a move would impose sanctions on groups and individuals who deal with the Muslim Brotherhood and even give the US legal grounds to attack it militarily.

The US decision follows the visit to the White House by Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi three weeks ago.   Sisi overthrew a Muslim Brotherhood led government in Egypt in 2013.

Perhaps a good starting point for a title would be:

NEXTRUSH UNPLUGGED: THROUGH THE NIGHT

(EARLY SEGMENT)

To France and the Yellow Vests.

Jerome Rodrigues was making a video of a protest of Paris a some months back when he was suddenly hit in the eye by a police flash bang round.

Rodrigues was associated with Eric Drouet, a highly visible protest figure, who's been arrested and charged by police in one case for conducting an unauthorized as in unannounced in advance protest and another for allegedly advocating an invasion of the Elysee Palace of President Macron.

But Rodrigues appeared in front of the media with other injured Yellow Vests Monday,

Flash bang rounds along with tear gas and even the 73 year old woman pushed to the ground in Nice and rendered unconscious by he police examples of police violence injuries in France.   Over 2,000 injured by the police.

He explained that 19 people with 26 working eyes were in the room.

Dozens of people have been identified as losing the use of their eyes that were hit by the police weaponry.

Gasoline taxes helped to launch the Yellow Vests movement in France taxes ostensibly to save the planet but Republican Governor Mike DeWine's gas tax in Ohio was pitched a little more straightforward in saying its being used to fund road projects, the cost of government is the reason gas taxes were really increased in France with saving the planet just an emotional issue to fuel support IMHO.

Governor DeWine wanted 18 cents a gallon and he got 10.5 cents more in tax starting July 1st with diesel fuel tax going up 19 cents a gallon.

Another driving force behind the Yellow Vests was government policy in France of turning highways over to private companies to charge tolls.    Many a Yellow Vests protest on a French highway involves occupation of toll booths and allowing motorists to use the roads for free.

Privatizing infrastructure sounds like a whoopee good idea to a"Forbes" magazine contributor who cites it along with other ideas as something to do beyond gasoline taxes for "infrastructure funding"....The link is below.....

Back with you....more on the way.....

When I was young I read a newspaper with an 8 column front page and smaller print that gave me 30 or more news stories on it from the nation and the world.   The local news fronted the back page with photos and I saw 15 or more stories locally.

And there was world, national and local content inside it, features etc.

Today it seems the "news" is limited in scope and focused to some singular event or group of events.

A problem is blown up and shoved at us with a "solution" offered to us involving loss of our freedoms enshrined in the Constitution.

March 15th indeed I wrote "beware the Ides of March" ala Shakespeare because the mass murder at the mosques in New Zealand was a dangerous event shoved into the world's face to create loss of gun rights and free speech rights that is likely to multiply infinitely as people enraged by the mass murder in New Zealand seek out revenge.

We had the Turkish born man (the New Zealand attacker was hater of Turks, it was written on his firearm) killing people in the Netherlands days afterwards.

In Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday a massive act of retaliation as indicated by Sri Lankan officials.

Now here in the USA the FBI arresting an Army veteran and Muslim convert ready to attack "white nationalists" and Jews and police.   Here is a BBC story.....LINK

We have drug fueled insanity meeting media obsession with singular events and crazy people ready to do crazy things.

Hopefully as many of us as possible can keep things in perspective and find good things and right things to do, maintain our own sanity as others choose insanity and not get caught up in the media obsession with events that promotes loss of freedom and baits the crazy people out there inclined to violence.

Glenn Beck on the radio trying to get people afraid of some leftist revolution.   The business people of Wall Street or The City in London always afraid of Communist revolution.   Fear of that by the business-rich elites caused the UK to enact tougher gun laws a century ago, to take away gun rights.

Fear is not good coming from any direction.   The Power greater than ourselves is needed to restore sanity......

NEWS SUMMARY-INTELLIGENCE REPORT SUNDAY 4/28-MONDAY 4/29/2019

(WORK IN PROGRESS,  ADDITIONS, EDITING ETC., UPDATES TILL MONDAY MORNING)

Spain's Socialist Party achieved a first place finish in the country's general election.  Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez  improved the position of his party in Spain's Parliament, but fell short of a majority in the lower house.

Sanchez took power with minority support in the country's parliament when corruption allegations forced Mariano Rajoy, former leader of  Popular Party of  the "Right",  out of power.

Sanchez tried to mobilize voters based on fear of the newly emerging Vox Party that opposes mass immigration.  Vox has picked up more than 10 percent of the popular vote and two dozen seats in the 350 seat Chamber of Deputies.

At 99.9 percent of the vote counted, 123 Socialists, 66 Popular Party, 57 Citizens Party, 42 Podemos, 24 Vox with the leading Catalan pro-independence party at 15 seats, a gain of six with a smaller Catalan pro-independence party set to get 7 seats as well.   Other smaller separatist parties have won seats giving the Socialists options to gain a 176 seat majority in the lower house.

The Socialist Party can claim a majority in Spain's 265 seat Senate.    They won 121 of the 208 elected seats there and have 18 of the appointed seats for a total of 139.

Police in Sri Lanka killed the father and two brothers of the man believed to have organized the eight terrorist attacks last Sunday.

Police launched an operation on a house in the eastern part of the country Friday with 15 reported dead afterwards.

Terrorist leader Zahran Hashim is believed to have died in a suicide attack on one of the Easter Sunday targets, a hotel.

Christian churches were also targeted and churches were closed this Sunday for security reasons.

The president and prime minister of Sri Lanka attended a Christian service that was televised across the country.

On Monday Sri Lanka's President Maithripala Sisirsena used an emergency law to ban face coverings in public.     The move taken to ensure national security.

Four people suspected of planning a terrorist attack on French police were arrested last Friday, April 26th.

France's domestic intelligence agency, DGSI, involved in the investigation.

Early word is that one of those arrested is a teenager who had done prison time for seeking to go to fight with jihadists in Syria.

One of two suspected spies for the United Arab Emirates committed suicide while in a Turkish prison.

That's the report from the government's "Haberturk" news channel Monday.

Later word from a spokesman for Turkey's justice ministry is that the suspect hanged himself at the Silivri prison, west of Istanbul.

The two were arrested earlier this month by Turkish authorities with a senior Turkish official saying the pair admitted spying on Arab nationals.

One of them being probed for any connection to the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi at Saudi Arabia's consulate in Istanbul last October.

The commanding officer of the detention facilities at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba relieved of command.

A month long investigation led to Rear Admiral John Ring losing his job due to what is called "a loss of confidence in his ability to command".

There are 40 detainees at Guantanamo Bay.

President Trump called Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein, injured in the Saturday attack on a California synagogue, with the Rabbi asking:

"What are you doing about the anti-Semitism?"

NEXTRUSH UNPLUGGED: SATURDAY NIGHT VERSION

'WHERE HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS GONE"-THE KINGSTON TRIO

Welcome aboard, its Saturday night again and my mood in the music watching things move on by concerned about the pathways of people I have supported and admired in the past.

Nigel Farage is disdaining the party he once led, UKIP, and he's getting great mainstream media coverage.

Farage talks about being against "The Establishment" on Brexit, campaigning in an election campaign that Prime Minister Theresa May and Leader of the Opposition Jeremy Corbyn can put the kibosh on if they cut a new treaty they will call "Brexit" with the European Union by May 22nd.

There will be no European Parliament election if those two get a deal cut.

UKIP's best candidate in the election, Carl Benjamin (aka "Sargon of Akkad"), had his campaign account suspended by Twitter Friday.

The fix is in and it smells like Nigel Farage is part of it.

Nigel has said and done good things, but I did see him buddy up to the Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant and then endorse the RINO, open borders, Chamber of Commerce candidate Cindy Hyde-Smith in the special election last year for US Senate down there.

And Nigel on Tommy Robinson being arrested last May 25th, summarily tried and jailed for reporting on a child sex abuse trial on an industrial scale involving Muslim defendants.   Nigel didn't like the reporting ban on his case but he was supportive of that travesty.

Tommy Robinson is getting in the European Parliament election as an Independent candidate running for a seat in North West England where 8 seats are up for grabs.

You can go to Tommy's website and see his video there.   Its worth watching.

VOTE TOMMY ROBINSON WEBSITE

When people criticize Islam they are demonized and marginalized.   Their views are being criminalized and even the serious conservative Peter Hitchens (not a Tommy Robinson supporter) says he is fearful of being in trouble with the law for criticizing Islam in his reserved tones at some point.

Nations that are deep in debt need Muslim money.   People in the US, UK and beyond do business with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Arabs.

French reporters who revealed French weapons being sold for use in the Saud-led war in Yemen being summoned for questioning by the domestic intelligence agency.

When Donald J. Trump became president of our nation 20 plus trillion dollars in the hole he gave some foreign leaders special treatment back in early 2017.

He had Shinzo Abe of Japan and Xi Jinping of China down to Mar-a-Lago while other leaders got the standard White House visit.  Their countries have money in the bank.

Then he went to Israel, another deep in debt nation, enroute to Saudi Arabia, where he did the sword dance with Saudi leaders.....DONALD TRUMP SWORD DANCE

And after the terrorist attacks from Islamic State it took a Democrat running for President in 2020 to lay out some truth in regards to Saudi Arabia and terrorism....TULSI GABBARD ON SAUDI IDEOLOGY AND SRI LANKA TERRORISM

Saudi Arabia has money in the bank, too.    Money for the US, UK, France, Israel and anyone else that needs it.   Perhaps the reason criticism is not allowed when it comes to Islam in a general sense and Saudi Arabia in a particular sense.

Joe died of lung cancer at age 45 in 1970.

I don't recall watching any of his shows, he died before I really paid attention to things on TV.

But he was blazing a trail with his debating of liberal guests and callers, getting into guests, being confrontational.

There was a "Fairness Doctrine" so all points of view were expected and he worked within those constraints to make his points and create controversy and attention.

Here's Joe going at it with Anton LaVey of the "Church of Satan" from the 1960's....

ANTON LAVEY INTERVIEWED BY JOE PYNE 1966 OR 1967

Joe Pyne left his mark in Los Angeles and Southern California blazing a trail for conservative hosts and commentators who would follow and in the summer of 1974 a man was on his way to becoming a Congressman doing conservative commentary on TV.

I heard a radio interview of him from a radio preacher-commentator Dr. Steuart McBirnie on his "Voice of Americanism" syndicated radio show broadcast on the famous Red Lion, PA radio station that ran afoul of the "Fairness Doctrine" in 1964.

Here is the man who would be called "B-1 Bob" Robert K. Dornan debating Ramona Ripston of the ACLU as the House Judiciary Committee was moving towards voting for impeachment of Richard Nixon.

A construction crane collapsed in Seattle at the new Google campus with two people operating the crane and two people in cars below killed Saturday.   Three injured and taken to a hospital.  One treated at the scene.

Its election day in Spain Sunday and Socialist Party Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez will  likely only improve his party by a few seats well short of a majority in the 350 seat House of Deputies forcing him into cutting deals with other parties to form a government.

Sanchez spreading fear of the Vox Party which is anti-mass immigration as a means of driving voters his way and pushing for a coalition government in the election's aftermath to exclude Vox from power.

YELLOW VESTS WEEK 24:  23,600 ESTIMATED BY GOVERNMENT, 60,132 BY YELLOW VESTS, STRASBOURG MAJOR PROTEST SITE

(NEWS, COMMENT AND ANALYSIS)

With some saying they were waiting until May 1st (Wednesday), the Yellow Vests came out onto the streets with both sides estimating smaller numbers than last week.

2600 estimated protesting by the government on the streets of Paris.  Two processions including one aimed at media buildings in protest of biased media coverage.   Yellow Vests gathered at the Place de la Republique for the conclusion of the protest late in the afternoon.

Here is a Ruptly video stream of today's protest.....RUPTLY VIDEO PARIS WEEK 24 YELLOW VESTS

Police were seen during the day conducting checks of people including checking their bags.    Police say they conducted 13,500 "preventive checks" in Paris today.    One place they did this was on the Champs-Elysees in the vicinity of the Arc de Triomphe.  The police say they made 14 arrests in Paris.

Strasbourg was designated as a major protest site today and  as is often the case the "black blocks" of anarchists show up at such sites and the police used tear gas there.   Here is video from the AFP news agency of today's protest there.....LINK     The "Huffington Post" offered up a video showing confrontations with police and arrests being made.....LINK

To wrap it up nationwide Yellow Vests protests continued in France today with lower numbers estimated by both the government and the Yellow Vests themselves.

President Macron has laid out his pension increases indexed to inflation and income tax cuts on Thursday, his response to the Yellow Vests protests.

But higher gasoline taxes remain without the planned increase of January 1st this year.

Public opinion polling indicated that 65 percent were not satisfied with Macron's proposals and only 37 percent found them "credible".

While 60 percent of the public surveyed in a poll don't want the protests to continue with highest numbers coming from the young (18 to 24) and the retired (over 65), those of working age are still more supportive of the Yellow Vests protests continuing.

Supporters of the Left political party ("France Insubordinate") of Jean-Luc Melenchon are 60 percent in support of the protests continuing according to the polling.   They no doubt because they believe in militant rebellion and see Macron as a pro-business elitist.

Also in support at a roughly 60 percent level of the Yellow Vests protests continuing are supporters of  Marine Le Pen's National Rally.    They are opposed to the gasoline taxation and the hardships that Macron's policies have placed on working people and advocate for reforms like a citizen referendum to change laws.

The Left will come out again to protest on Wednesday (May Day).     And it looks like there will be more Yellow Vests protests in the Saturday's ahead at a level that remains to be seen.

BREAKING NEWS:  FRANCE YELLOW VESTS WEEK 24 MACRON SPEAKS, POLLING PAINTS A MUDDY PICTURE

(LATEST NEWS AT THE BOTTOM)

For Emmanuel Macron proposing income tax cuts and pensions adjusted for inflation seemed to be the right response to the Yellow Vests.

But the early polling shows deep distrust and disbelief over his plans.  A poll for BFM-TV reveals that 65 percent were not convinced by his proposals.  Only 37 percent considered his proposals credible.

77 percent of those polled believed that Macron has not responded to the Yellow Vests with his proposals announced before the media Thursday evening.

(1015 PM EASTERN, 415 AM FRANCE)

A rainy day forecast Saturday in France.   That may impact Yellow Vests crowds.

Polling data before Macron's speech probably left him feeling comfortable coming out to speak because the polling said 60 percent of the people in France wanted the Yellow Vests protests to stop.

But majorities of supporters of two political parties think the Yellow Vests should carry on.

The Left "France Insubordinate" party supporters and supporters of the main opposition party, Marine Le Pen's National Rally, both very much in favor of a continuation of the protest, no doubt with their own reasons.

The Left for the sake of rebellion and the National Rally for the sake of gasoline tax relief and help for rural France, which has been hurt by President Macron's policies.

Polling for the European Parliament elections next month now shows National Rally at 24 percent with Macron's LaRem party at 21 percent.

(2 AM EASTERN, 8 AM FRANCE)

Looking at the political polling more we see "Les Republicans (The Republicans)" the new name for the old party of the "Right" back at 14 percent and further back than that we see a split and divided Left in France with the old Socialists at 6 percent, the "Green" faction around 8.5 percent and the "France Insubordinate" ex-Communist Left of Jean-Luc Melenchon around 7.5 percent.

Melenchon outspoken in his support of Yellow Vests protests.

But what has happened to the Left.    The "Socialists" talk social leftism like LGBTQ  and advocate open borders to bring in cheap labor and hurt working people.    The "climate change" Green left wants to tax little people to "save the planet".

That looks like a ploy to shift the tax structure away from corporations onto working people.

Where do working people go when political parties are failing their interests and supporting business interests instead?

The "Left" of Melenchon and his militancy or in some other direction.     Some former working class voters see Marine Le Pen and the National Rally wanting to limit immigration and speaking out against big corporations hurting working people so they happen to end up there.

Some voters on the Left also seduced into supporting Macron even though his end game is pro-business he can fool a few.

'So that's the political analysis, more on Saturday's (Today's) protest in minutes.....

(225 AM EASTERN, 825 AM FRANCE)

Today Strasbourg designated as an international Yellow Vests protest site.

One firm decision was an income tax cut worth more than 5.6 billion dollars (5 billion euros) but his other proposals were not as clear, especially to his political opponents.

Macron said he wanted the people of France, who have a 35 hour work week with time off to "work more" and at least not retire early and to have equality of opportunity.

But the French president also said he had been slow in implementing policies that have been controversial like massive rises in gasoline taxes in the name of dealing with "climate change".

Some Yellow Vests reaction was that Macron was not listening.

Some 16-hundred civilians killed in the Syrian city of Raqqa by US led coalition forces in 2017 during the fight to oust ISIS.    That's the result of an investigation by two groups, Amnesty International and Airwars.    The groups went into Raqqa and conducted investigations at more than 200 sites hit by air attacks and artillery.

Well there you go a couple of methods of intoxication in the music the pill way with the Rolling Stones and Brewer and Shipley's ode to the "weedy" way of getting high from 1971 that I remember hearing all over the radio back then.

One of the "conservative talk show hosts" asked on Monday after the terrorist bombings in Sri Lanka that targeted Christians:

"When will the Christians stand up?"

And I got an answer based on my personal experience:

"When the Christians get sober"

I am a great hypocrite and user of the Lord's name in vain by my wrong actions that hurt others and sent the wrong message.

I'm not here to preach down to anyone here just reflecting my own experience.

Preaching down to people coming back to bite in France for Emmanuel Macron's political party (LaRem-La Republique En Marche) with its lead candidate for the European Parliament elections next month, Nathalie Loiseau.

She condemns the "far-right" but it turns out that back in the 1980's as a student she was on a list of candidates for the "far-right" in a student election.

Calling her on her moralistic attitude 23 year old Jordan Bardella, the lead candidate of the National Rally Party of Marine Le Pen:

"What annoys me is that she thinks she is Jean Moulin thinking herself a high priestess of the fight against extreme right giving moral lessons to everyone, when in reality  she was caught with in the pot Nutella"

Polling in France on the Yellow Vests shows 70 percent of those over 65 and 59 percent of 18-24 year olds, along with 75 percent of business executives want the protests to stop.   Among the rank and file working people that's only 53 percent.

Overall the polling claims 60 percent of the people in France want the protests to stop.

President Emmanuel Macron now set to speak an offer his economic program to respond to the concerns of the Yellow Vests at 8 pm Thursday night, 2 pm Thursday afternoon in the Eastern USA.

Those "Christian Conservatives" who met with the "Butcher of Riyadh" Mohammed Bin Salman the other month talking about "people of faith" and so on but the latest terrorist outrage in Sri Lanka reminds us of the home of the terrorist ideology.

Watch this video.....SAUDI IDEOLOGY BEHIND TERRORISM HIDDEN BY TRUMP/PENCE

Politics to be sure from a Democrat Congresswoman running for President but plenty of truth mixed in.

In the religious media, I was listening to a religious radio station in the last year or so hearing Jay Sekulow on his radio.     Sekulow, a lawyer for the President in the Mueller matter, but also a conservative religious activist.

He was peddling a book to tell people that Iran is behind terrorism in the world.

Its been decided in high places that for the sake of Israel, Saudi Arabia needs to be supported do or die regardless of how women are treated in that country and the militant ideology they have spread around the world with disastrous consequences and the list goes on like the brutal murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

The Saudis executed 37 Shia Islamic militants the other day, one by crucifixion, for attacking a police station.    They are the competing brand of Islam and their lives are worth less.

(155 AM EASTERN)

Back and listening to singer-songwriter Michael Card brings back a reminder of my hypocrisy.  Years ago at a religious media event I was disturbed by my surroundings and I was bothered by all the women, glitz, glamour, personalities.   My problem, my disturbance but Mr. Michael Card was there and he seemed to be the sober and sane person in the room IMHO.

So much going with religious hypocrisy and part of my experience was switching churches wanting to see the wrong in each one and moving onto the next.

People switch religions too like Sinead O'Connor did this year coming out as a Muslim.

She was raised Catholic in Ireland and all that but of course tore up a picture of Pope John Paul II on "Saturday Night Live" decades ago.    O'Connor talking about "the real enemy" as she did that.

Religious situations can hurt people in real and imagined ways but lets be real a lot of religious hypocrisy and I own my share of it that has harmed others and hurt them and confused them.

The talks moving forward between Prime Minister Theresa May's government and the opposition Labor Party Tuesday.    The objective is an agreement to push Mrs. May's treaty with the European Union through.

Some tough differences remain to be overcome according to media reports.

May calls it Brexit, leaving the European Union, but opponents say it does not reflect the will of the majority of voters who opted for Leave in the 2016 referendum.   Others say it is "treason" with a number of Conservative Party MP's and leaders calling on Mrs. May to resign.   That's something May has said she will do if her plan is approved.

It appears her objective is to get the deal through by May 22nd to shut down the European Parliament elections set for May 23rd where her party is set to suffer a major defeat.

In nine days local government elections are likely to give the Conservative Party a jolt as it is.

In a sign that Prime Minister May does indeed plan to wrap up her agreement with the European Union by Wednesday May 22nd, an announcement Tuesday that President Trump will be in the UK for a state visit.

Mr. Trump visiting the UK Monday June 3rd to Wednesday June 5th is the word from Buckingham Palace.   Trump has spoken in favor of a full exit from the European Union saying the United States stands ready to conclude a good trade deal if the UK fully exits the EU.

The May "Brexit" plan would limit the ability of the UK to freely and fully trade with the United States and only a much smaller and limited deal would be possible during a Trump visit if May's plan goes through.

From Hong Kong, four pro-democracy activists given sentences of up to 16 months in prison for participating in protests.

So you see its "hoped" that Iran under sanctions will try to close the Straits of Hormuz so US military action will be justified.

Japan was sanctioned once by the United States and FDR got the desired result with US entry into World War II because Japan was pressured into acting militarily.

Iran is getting the same treatment that Mr. Tojo got with same outcome hoped for.

Honestly I agree that the US needed to get into WW 2, but  WW 2 came out of the "original sin" of the First World War, the "war to end all wars" as Woodrow Wilson put it.

Back with you and the last info I had was that four Americans died in the terrorist mass murder suicide bombing spree in Sri Lanka.

The death toll now at 310.

A lot want to emphasize that an Islamic group was involved in this and NTJ are its initials as we understand it.

Inside job of Sri Lankans or inside job with outside help is what a lot of people are asking.

In Sri Lanka until 10 years ago a decades long conflict was underway that involved war and terrorism between the main groups in the country.    The Hindu Tamils of the minority versus the Buddhist Sinhalese of the majority so this kind of stuff was done in the country, just not by a Muslim group if you will.

The number of suspects arrested is now up to 40.

How about the notion of Islamic Terrorism....well you many of you know Mark Steyn and here is his perspective......STEYN ONLINE-TAQIYYA FOR EASTER

Election Day in Spain this Sunday and two of the latest polls paint the notion that the Socialists will be the lead party short of a majority in the 350 seat Chamber of Deputies and the People's Party of the the "Right" finishing second.

The new party of the "Right" Citizens in third and the new party of the "Left" Podemos behind that but the fast rising Vox Party (they only got .2 percent of the popular vote in 2014) is running with at least 10.4 percent of the popular vote and maybe 12.7 percent in one of the polls.

So Vox, the so-called "Far-Right" party could be taking the fourth place spot with over 30 seats this Sunday.  Vox outspoken about mass immigration into Spain.

The pro-independence Catalan parties are set for 17 or 18 seats and they could be potential king makers after the election.

Campaigning for the European Parliament elections underway and all the energy Nigel Farage is putting out right now for his "Brexit Party" could mean nothing as Theresa May pulls off a deal with Jeremy Corbyn and passes "Brexit" through the House of Commons cancelling in effect those May 23rd elections.

Mrs. May can say she got "Brexit" just as sure as Chamberlain said he got "Peace" from Hitler in 1938.

Then May can walk off the stage for a new Prime Minister.

But the original party of Brexit is contesting the elections for local government,  UKIP running over 1200 candidates in the races for local councils nine days from now on May 2nd.

There are also "For Britain Movement" candidates running in those elections in some cases to choose from.

The Tories can be voted against sooner and for sure on May 2nd in these local elections.

Peter Hitchens noted in his column the other day that whatever rash or over the top things Julian Assange did his "real crime" was exposing the killing of civilians by US military forces in Iraq in 2007.

War is a horrible thing and after 9/11 our military forces fought in places other than the country the Al-Qaeda movement originated in.   Al-Qaeda the organization became an enemy but its homeland had money and oil and so it was overlooked.....

From the war in Libya eastern Libyan forces of General Khalifa Haftar staged airstrikes on military positions of the Government of National Accord in Tripoli early Sunday.

Precision guided missiles used in the airstrikes leading to speculation that a foreign power is helping to stage the attacks.   There are reports of United Arab Emirates military aircraft stationed in the eastern Libyan territory controlled by General Haftar.

In the aftermath of the removal of Omar al-Bashir from power in Sudan, the United Arab Emriates and Saudi Arabia have pledged 3 billion dollars of support.     500 million dollars will be deposited directly into Sudan's central bank.

But the leaders of the crowds of protesters on the streets of Sudan say they are breaking off contact with the currently ruling military council because it contains elements of the old Bashir regime.

They intend to escalate their level of protest.

Thousands protested in Morocco's capital Rabat Sunday.    The "march of the Moroccan people" calling for the release of 42 activists who were jailed for protesting against corruption in the country.

A court recently upheld prison sentences for the activists.

France's Yellow Vests protests continued by and large peaceful on Saturday, Week 23.

101,125 demonstrators estimated by the Yellow Vests themselves with the government's estimate just 27,900.

But in Paris the confrontation at the Place of the Republic  (Place de la Republique) was in front of the media and cameras as anarchists sought a fight with police hurling projectiles and in some cases "suicide" comments were offered up.     29 police suicides reported in France this year.

Police ended up using tear gas and water cannon.

Much media coverage and outrage from political leaders over the situation,     The First Deputy Mayor of Paris, Emmanuel Gregoire, says:

"the situation is not satisfactory"

when it comes to security measures and they will need to be reviewed.

Two defeats for Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in special elections for  seats in the lower house of Japan's parliament Sunday.    His Liberal Democratic Party losing in Osaka to a business executive who ran as the "Japan Innovation Party" candidate and on Okinawa an Independent candidate opposed to the US military presence on the island defeated the LDP candidate.

The elections considered a run-up to the upper house elections in Japan this summer.

And also from Japan, another indictment of former Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn on a new charge of "aggravated breach of trust".     The filing of a new charge justifies continued detention of Ghosn who has already been arrested four times as new charges slightly different from previous ones as the case against him has developed.

Lawyers for Ghosn are attempting to get him released on bail and Ghosn says he is being framed by hostile Nissan executives.

And that's the way it really is on this Monday morning April 22nd, 2019.

NEXTRUSH UNPLUGGED: SATURDAY NIGHT VERSION

Music Links:

And wow some great music on a holiday weekend with some joyous sounds and some seasonal sounds with Passover and Easter upon us, at least that's the way I'm seeing it.

ABBA with the happy sound and The Seekers with a great film of their recording session in 1965 of a hit song that launched their fame and stardom.    Helen Reddy singing from "Jesus Christ Superstar" and an example of Contemporary Christian Music from a couple that performed it as I saw it back then some 40 years ago, Mickey and Becki Moore singing.

There's plenty of serious stuff in the world and we're getting there but I am trying to reflect too and celebrate some.

The Yellow Vests out again in France doing the peaceful things they normally do throughout the country like take over toll booths on privately run highways in France and making the day toll free or holding signs promotion a "Citizen's Initiative Referendum" or "RIC" as their signs.

But there are leftists and anarchists in the crowd too and they end up masked and dressed in black.   They call them "black blocs".  They do violence to provoke a crackdown from the police and government to create revolution in the old tradition.

The Left in France as in old "red guard" is hard pressed and so are the socialists.   More on the "Left" are set to vote for an environmentalist type party in the European Parliament election next month than the old Communist-Socialist parties.

Those people have drank the Kool Aid that the planet needs to be saved from climate change.

CLIMATE CHANGE IS A CON JOB TO PASS THE COST OF THE WELFARE STATE AS IN THE TAX BURDEN ONTO LOWER INCOME PEOPLE AND AWAY FROM BUSINESS.

That's the whole Macron game that led to these Yellow Vests protests in the first place.   Constantly rising gas prices from constant rising gas taxes impacting people in the suburbs and rural areas who drive a lot.

The Yellow Vests evening wrap up post for today is at this link.....HERE

After being banned and deplatformed and marginalized guess who isn't going away?    Tommy Robinson is finding his way over, under and around censorship and we'll tell you more.

51 Years Ago These Immortal Words Were Spoken In The United Kingdom:

"Like the Roman, I seem to see the River Tiber foaming with much blood....

All I know is that to see and not to speak, would be the great betrayal."

The Conservative Party shunned Enoch Powell and marginalized him after he spoke those words reminding us that today the Conservative Party and those that the Tories seems to running to for cover like Nigel Farage under his Brexit Party banner shun modern day voices that sound an alarm like Anne Marie Waters of the For Britain Movement and Tommy Robinson who now supports UKIP.

Robinson hauled off to court summarily tried and thrown away for more than two months, most of it in a jail where he was taunted and threatened by Muslim inmates.

Tommy Robinson won his appeal and was released but his case is still on the docket being pushed off and kicked down the road several months at a time.

The Establishment has bigger things to fry I guess one would see with Brexit and they can't muddy the tense atmosphere with Robinson's case.

Nigel Farage was put off by the four day media ban on reporting last May but fully in agreement with the summary trial and judgement of Robinson.   Very telling for a man who has spoken many other good words, but dropped the ball here.

The strategy for now is to deplatform Tommy Robinson on social media and he's got his own TR News website going and Robinson explained his next move in a email sent out Friday:

"So I have been completely censored, de-platformed and pretty much erased from the face of the online earth by the establishment, the giant corporations and so called 'powers that be'.   Sadly things have got to such a level now that the general public and any innocent folk who even dare to simply just mention my name are now being penalized and met with a level of censorship which is no different that that of a communist dictatorship!!

The threat is absolutely insane and scary at the same time.  The threat is absolutely real and is clearer now for everyone to see than it has ever been before.   Even for those individuals who hate me with a passion it was become excruciatingly painful for them to now even remotely agree with me on what is happening and the ultimate effect that this level of censorship is having now and in the future.

So what are my plans I hear you ask.....

I AM GOING TO ATTEMPT TO BUY A BUS!!!.....

I am going to attempt to buy our very own TR.NEWS bus, however this isn't your typical bus or any old contraption with wheels and a shed load of seating capacity.   No this will be a state of the art bus with a huge external screen and multiple internal screens which can facilitate and double up as a studio where I can literally take to the streets to bring live shows where I can interview guests, stage particular demonstrations and interact, all without being "removed" or "shut down"....."

Tommy asking recipients of the email to help support him in the effort.

TOMMY'S PS TO THE LETTER IS A MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT THURSDAY IN WYTHENSHAWE, MANCHESTER AND HE PROMISES MORE DETAILS LATER.

And to top off Tommy Peter Hitchens column for the "Mail on Sunday" is out.....He comments on the climate change protests in London....

"...And if you're wondering why the poice have been so useless in acting against these modish self-canonized saints-well, it is time you realized that the police are no longer on our side.   They're with the lefties, skateboards and all"

Hitchens out with opinion about Julian Assange as well biting and incisive.   You can read the column at the link.....
