NEXTRUSH UNPLUGGED: THROUGH THE NIGHT

(EARLY SEGMENT)

To France and the Yellow Vests.

Jerome Rodrigues was making a video of a protest of Paris a some months back when he was suddenly hit in the eye by a police flash bang round.

Rodrigues was associated with Eric Drouet, a highly visible protest figure, who's been arrested and charged by police in one case for conducting an unauthorized as in unannounced in advance protest and another for allegedly advocating an invasion of the Elysee Palace of President Macron.

But Rodrigues appeared in front of the media with other injured Yellow Vests Monday,

Flash bang rounds along with tear gas and even the 73 year old woman pushed to the ground in Nice and rendered unconscious by he police examples of police violence injuries in France.   Over 2,000 injured by the police.

He explained that 19 people with 26 working eyes were in the room.

Dozens of people have been identified as losing the use of their eyes that were hit by the police weaponry.

Jerome Rodrigues calling for a protest on Sunday May 26th of the injured Yellow Vests.

His Monday news conference can been seen on this video that is almost one hour long.

Gasoline taxes helped to launch the Yellow Vests movement in France taxes ostensibly to save the planet but Republican Governor Mike DeWine's gas tax in Ohio was pitched a little more straightforward in saying its being used to fund road projects, the cost of government is the reason gas taxes were really increased in France with saving the planet just an emotional issue to fuel support IMHO.

Governor DeWine wanted 18 cents a gallon and he got 10.5 cents more in tax starting July 1st with diesel fuel tax going up 19 cents a gallon.

Another driving force behind the Yellow Vests was government policy in France of turning highways over to private companies to charge tolls.    Many a Yellow Vests protest on a French highway involves occupation of toll booths and allowing motorists to use the roads for free.

Privatizing infrastructure sounds like a whoopee good idea to a"Forbes" magazine contributor who cites it along with other ideas as something to do beyond gasoline taxes for "infrastructure funding"....The link is below.....

FORBES-GAS TAXES NOT LONG-TERM ANSWER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING

Gasoline prices easing here in central PA back on the 289.9 level in the area where they were 8 days ago.

Our economic allies in the heartland of terrorism the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia along with OPEC coming through as President Trump indicated they would last week?

Rod Rosenstein, Deputy Attorney General, is resigning.   That word out tonight.  The overseer of the Robert Mueller probe.

Mueller's report comes off as a political document for the Democrats to campaign on in 2020 and hurts the Republicans so Republican Rosenstein has clearly hurt the GOP and its no wonder so many are angry at him.

Local council elections in the UK on Thursday with the Conservatives in disarray as Theresa May betrays the Leave vote on Brexit in 2016, Labor running strong here.    No Nigel Farage Show-Brexit Party in these elections with the MSM in tow like is going on for the European Parliament elections sucking air out of everything else.

So voters can vote to make Brexit happen by supporting UKIP in the elections and Gerard Batten makes his case in this video.....GERARD BATTEN UKIP LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS MAY 2ND

Back with you....more on the way.....

When I was young I read a newspaper with an 8 column front page and smaller print that gave me 30 or more news stories on it from the nation and the world.   The local news fronted the back page with photos and I saw 15 or more stories locally.

And there was world, national and local content inside it, features etc.

Today it seems the "news" is limited in scope and focused to some singular event or group of events.

A problem is blown up and shoved at us with a "solution" offered to us involving loss of our freedoms enshrined in the Constitution.

March 15th indeed I wrote "beware the Ides of March" ala Shakespeare because the mass murder at the mosques in New Zealand was a dangerous event shoved into the world's face to create loss of gun rights and free speech rights that is likely to multiply infinitely as people enraged by the mass murder in New Zealand seek out revenge.

We had the Turkish born man (the New Zealand attacker was hater of Turks, it was written on his firearm) killing people in the Netherlands days afterwards.

In Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday a massive act of retaliation as indicated by Sri Lankan officials.

Now here in the USA the FBI arresting an Army veteran and Muslim convert ready to attack "white nationalists" and Jews and police.   Here is a BBC story.....LINK

We have drug fueled insanity meeting media obsession with singular events and crazy people ready to do crazy things.

Hopefully as many of us as possible can keep things in perspective and find good things and right things to do, maintain our own sanity as others choose insanity and not get caught up in the media obsession with events that promotes loss of freedom and baits the crazy people out there inclined to violence.

Glenn Beck on the radio trying to get people afraid of some leftist revolution.   The business people of Wall Street or The City in London always afraid of Communist revolution.   Fear of that by the business-rich elites caused the UK to enact tougher gun laws a century ago, to take away gun rights.

Fear is not good coming from any direction.   The Power greater than ourselves is needed to restore sanity......

The Kennedy and King assassinations in the 1960's singular dominating news events that drove anti-Second Amendment legislation that became law back then.

In all the emotions about "defending the Second Amendment" in our day one is not aware that the "right to keep and bear arms" is already watered down in this country.

When I think about the crazy, insane activities out there I'm reminded that there is a connection between drugs, alcohol, other intoxicants and the mass killers.    Peter Hitchens has written much about this on his blog.

Last week I shared a speaker named Clancy I (Clancy Imislund) with a message of experience, strength and hope about sobriety.

I have another hour of Clancy to link to and towards he end of the hour he says that sobriety and recovery for him means to:

"....change my perception of reality and make it a friendly place, to change my relationship to people so I live with some degree of dignity...."
