Music from Three Dog Night, 1970.   I discovered this one during the "Oregon Standoff" in 2016 and it reminds us that the notion of environmental catastrophe, destruction of the planet and impending doom was out there and very real back in the days of "Earth Day"

Time marches on and now the fear is about climate change and global warming.

This week in Canada the government came up with a report saying the climate is changing twice as fast in Canada as the rest of the world.

Convenient timing as higher prices on gasoline kick in with carbon taxes that they call "carbon pricing".

But the schemes of "climate change" or "global warming" are this:

1.  A scheme that manufactures a crisis

2.  A scheme to raise taxes-revenue

3.  A scheme to fund the welfare state

4.  A scheme to keep big business from paying for the welfare state

5.  A scheme to pass big business costs onto consumers.

Liberal progressive people imposing taxes on little people so big business can thrive and survive.

Supports of climate change fuel the political conflict in our society between Left and Right with their passion but in the end they help the big corporations and hurt the little people who pay taxes.

The Yellow Vests movement seized on the "green taxes" and rose up in France and it continues to be a thorn in the side of the regime there.

Eric Drouet and Maxime Nicolle of the Yellow Vests summoned to separate courts Thursday to answer the allegations of "incitement of violence" leveled by the government.

In the UK Thursday the choice to vote against the Establishment exists in the by-election at Newport-West in Wales.   Neil Hamilton of UKIP on the ballot there.

Groups are being attacked and shut down these "Generation Identity" groups under probes with Austria trying to stop this Martin Sellner fellow and now the French government going after its "Generation Identity" group seeking ways to ban it.   The AFP agency and BFM-TV reporting this.

And now a warning from the British police regarding Brexit aimed at Members of Parliament and activists alike.

That's my interpretation of the statement of Martin Hewitt, Chairman of the National Police Chief Council in the UK, as he warns MP's and campaigners not to "inflame" matter around Brexit.

Theresa May has done all she can to inflame things now dealing with Jeremy Corbyn and seemingly imploding the Conservative Party.

Good thing about the UK, there are "Third Parties" like UKIP to vote for in the Thursday By-Election in Wales.

In the USA we still drink the Kool Aid and delude ourselves that electing Donald Trump solved everything and if he tells us to keep voting GOP we just lap it up.

In the UK UKIP there is on the ballot today in Wales for the Special Election but Nigel Farage is trying to start his own party and there's another faction out there "For Britain" led by Anne Marie Waters whose video we shared a link to earlier this week.

Farage's "Brexit Party" getting into controversy as its enemies pile on about the past comments of two people listed as leaders who have since departed.

When you go after the political Establishment like Martin Luther King or Carl McIntire, they come after you and work to destroy and discredit.    I wonder if this guy mentioned deliberately got involved with Nigel as an agent sent in by the Establishment.....LINK HERE

End of the line coming up with word from an Arab news website that the "Deal Of The Century" between Jews and Arabs pushed by President Trump due out May 15th.

The former Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn was out on massive bail under house arrest in Japan but today arrested again on new charges.    Ghosn's arrest comes 24 hours after tweeted about a news conference next week to tell his side of the story.

Yes....the Brexit story continues the relentless efforts of the political, business elites etc. etc. to thwart the will of the people approved in the 2016 referendum.
