NEXTRUSH UNPLUGGED:  SATURDAY NIGHT VERSION WITH LATEST NEWS SUMMARY AT THE END

Music Links:

"Before the breathin' air is gone...."

"Before the sun is just a bright spot in a bright spot in the night-time...."

The song with those lyrics by Three Dog Night its title actually "Out In The Country" not "A Walk In The Country" moving up the Top 40 chart 49 years ago today.

I was young back then with fear of nuclear war being put into me among other things but also the fear of environmental catastrophe.    I remember one TV show back in the 1970's that portrayed Los Angeles and the rest of the world going underground in 1989  having run out of breathable air with the survivors living underground in 2017.

Fear when I was young, anger and rage I expressed into the cassette recorder microphone.

It of course reminds me of Greta Thunberg's rage this week:

"You stole my childhood"

Wow!    I was young, I was angry, I was bullied and sexually molested.    That's when my childhood was stolen.   I grew up being an alcoholic, a drunk.

Pray for Greta Thunberg, for peace and serenity, sanity and sobriety in her life.    No need to be angry with her.   I feel sad.

Lets get something more pleasant in the music........

Well onto the issues of the world and Boris Johnson still trying to cut that Brexit "deal" boxed in he can claim but if there is a deal it would be a sell-out, a Theresa May 2.0.    It would be the undermining of democracy as expressed in the 2016 Brexit referendum.

The court ruling this week another undermining of democracy as Peter Hitchens points out.....

"THE JUDICIAL USURPATION OF PARLIAMENT"

The opinion polls for a potential election in the UK which the current members of Parliament would never vote for out there as well with a steady upward progression for Nigel Farage's Brexit Party as the farce of the established parties begins to become more clear along with farce of other established forces like the judiciary totally crushing and undermining the will of the people.

Getting back to that notion of  Los Angeles and the rest of the world running out of breathing air in 1989 as portrayed on TV in the 1970's here is the episode of "The Name of the Game" TV series on NBC......

'THE NAME OF THE GAME'-LOS ANGELES 2017

But President Trump making the point of a Witch Hunt going on giving the Republican Establishment a big financial windfall as the Democrats do their:

"impeachment inquiry"

or is it just a CYA operation for Joe Biden's reputation to distract from Trump's zeroing in on the corruption that may be there involving Biden's son the "consultant" making big bucks in connection with Ukraine?

I share my opinion on what I call the:

NEWS SUMMARY-INTELLIGENCE REPORT MONDAY 9/23/2019

The Israeli political maneuvering to form a new government with 55 members of Parliament recommending Benjamin Netanyahu to President Reuven Rivlin as the next Prime Minister and 54 recommending Benny Gantz.

Both numbers short of a 61 seat majority.

The math changed in recent hours with the Balad faction of the Joint Arab List (three seats) withdrawing support for Gantz who previously had the support of 57 members.

This move made it likely President Rivlin would give Netanyahu the first attempt at forming a new government.

The Joint Arab List endorsement of Gantz Sunday created a firestorm giving Netanyahu an emotional issue to increase his political momentum and the withdrawal may have been a deliberate move to defuse the issue.

But now (Monday)  Mr. Netanyahu is pushing for a "unity government" where Mr. Gantz's Blue and White Party will join Netanyahu and his allies (including religious parties) in a government and President Reuven Rivlin is also said to be involved in applying pressure for such a "unity government"

"I'd ring out danger, I'd ring out a warning"

The irony of using Peter, Paul and Mary to warn about freedom being lost to keep and bear arms in this country in 2019.

On Vietnam, those three folks were on one side and on the other side was the radio preacher Dr. Carl McIntire and what he got for wanting a military victory there was the full weight of the Federal Communications Commission and its Fairness Doctrine.   The shutting down of his radio station by the Leftists going to the FCC and Republican Richard Nixon's majority approving the shutdown.
The video reads 1976 but the actual date earlier than that in 1973.

Now speech is shut down by social media companies in a more instant way and we see Colt deciding to take down AR-15 production ''for the civilian market" just like a snap of the finger as well.

The preacher came up with a phrase:

"Freedom is everybody's business"

and in his day the Radio Television News Directors Association was right in there.    The organization of mainstream media news managers supported the "right-wing preacher's" freedom of speech fighting the Fairness Doctrine shutdown.

But in this day and age as freedom is shut down people seem to "hang separately" with raging political speech and division.

Over in one court Chelsea Manning imprisoned indefinitely fined heavily for refusing to testify to a grand jury.  Then there's Julian Assange in prison and with another prisoner nearby for 66 days named Tommy Robinson.

Wow, I've been careful not to make a sweeping prediction about what happens next in Israel.

The divisions are laid bare in this election season, the second one this year.    The religious versus secular forces in Israel not happy with each other.

The secularists like Yair Lapid of the Blue and White Party apt to say "This Is Not Iran" when they dispute religious Israelis.

That's probably about the worst insult you can dish out in Israel nowadays.

They say the "Kingmaker" is Avigdor Lieberman of the Yisrael Beiteinu Party (Israel Our Home) who balked at joining Benjamin Netanyahu in a government after the April election leading to this new one last week.

Lieberman ostensibly upset with the religious in Israel and their unwillingness to accept their unwillingness to be drafted into Israel's security forces.

But the big hot potato are the indictments facing Benjamin Netanyahu and Netanyahu is scrambling to prevent being replaced by a new government that would be put him out in the cold and in the courtroom.

"Southfront" is not friendly to Israel but I will give you their analysis to consider......

"SOUTHFRONT" ON ISRAELI POLITICS

I also understand that the US envoy Jason Greenblatt who is leaving his post as Special Envoy on the "Deal of the Century" is talking to both Netanyahu and Gantz.   Is the POTUS working behind the scenes on a "deal" for Israeli politics?

Onward we go and I weigh in on religious versus secular noting that I have a religious background and I am a drunk and a hypocrite currently sober.    When I was "saved" I was "drunk" and I want to be "sober" and my Higher Power is on the side of me being sober.    I need right relation to the G-Man.    The Jewish tradition is not to use the word G-d because it is so holy and sacred.

I was in the rooms where the name seemed to be used in vain repeatedly with hypocrisy all around and I joining in it in my own way, the wrong way.

(WARNING:   THE CONTENT FROM HERE FORWARD MAY BE DISTURBING TO SOME)

Music Links:

Well here we go its pretty obvious from the music in the last set that we're getting into the notion of sexual wrongdoing which is a problem that men and women have.

People are hurt by this and legal boundaries are crossed.   The Israeli men and Iranian men I have read both go to Bangkok in Thailand to cross moral and legal boundaries.  All Have Sinned and All Do Sin.

Of course some out there will say the Democrats are the dirty players like Jeffrey Epstein and Company with underage girls on an industrial scale.

You can see dirty players in the UK like Tommy Robinson has pointed out with legal consequences for him for exposing them.   Robinson pointing out that the accused Muslims are getting very light treatment in the UK. A US court would never do what the British courts have done.

But here in my backyard a  Pennsylvania Republican State Senator arrested and resigned in less than 24 hours.   Mike Folmer from Lebanon represented a district that included part of my county (York).

This next part I must reflect on and I will first mention a former Democrat President Jimmy Carter who said he had sex with women in his mind in essence when he told "Playboy" during the 1976 presidential campaign:

"I've committed adultery in my heart many times"

Speaking for myself I am no different from James Earl Carter and I have identified myself as a "Conservative, Christian" and so on, a "Republican".

No legal boundaries crossed in that activity, but moral ones galore with shame and guilt associated with my actions.

And when the mind is that wrong the legal boundaries lie just around the corner.

So here in Pennsylvania I have been made aware that supposedly and I have no confirmation that Governor Tom Wolf, Democrat, has been seen in a place where no Governor should go and would be dangerous for anyone because the potential for lusting after women in that locale is great.

I do not support the GOP as I made clear earlier and I do not support the Democrats either.

I just wish Governor Wolf some sanity and sobriety in his life and I hope he's finding it and not doing what was intimated to me not too many months ago.

He is my neighbor here in York County, PA and "love thy neighbor" as Ammon Bundy took his stand in Oregon in 2016 is a good idea.

So I wish you the best Governor Wolf.

When it comes to "sex" David decided in the "Good Book" to look at Bathsheba and many of us know what followed.    A murder and an uproar that divided a nation.

The acid test of "faith" in "G-d" is taking the right action as opposed to pretending the right words suffice.

In the religious media I shudder to think of the experiences I had not on the Jim Bakker-Jimmy Swaggart (both men still around doing shows in the media) level but bad enough.

Got to be a better way and I'm finding it with right actions.     I pray for those who disturb me, pray for those I want to be angry with or lust after.   Pray for peace and serenity, sanity and sobriety in their lives.

"NOT ONE MORE" HAS MORE APPLICATIONS THAN TO THE OPIOID ADDICTION ISSUE ALONE AND WILL THE RAGING MOB OF LAWSUITERS SOLVE THAT PROBLEM OR ADDICTION ISSUES IN GENERAL WITH THEIR TIRADES AND RAGE AND LITIGATION AND REVENUE HARVESTING FOR GOVERNMENTS.

"COAT OF MANY COLORS"-DOLLY PARTON

The sad voice of Dolly Parton, the voice of heartbreak for broken hearts like mine when I was growing up.

The bullies and sexual abusers were in my life and that song "Coat of Many Colors" and other country songs were my favorites in the midst of my pain.

I remember the well-intentioned liberal school teacher speaking out against bullying in fifth grade and then the mob of children in the playground pushing the bullies about.

Bullying wasn't going to be stopped by that and will sexual wrongdoing be solved by the mobs raging in our world today.

So much hurt and so much pain and the need for so much healing.     The criminal justice system only goes so far.

I offer as a link tonight some of my more recent experience,  Chapter 5 of the "Big Book" of Alcoholics Anonymous "How It Works" and when you get to the bottom of page 68 and into page 69 from the 1930's sex is discussed as a problem in a very different way than I understood it in the past.

It's all good reading about the core steps of the 12 and how they work but sex is brought into the picture and it was a problem back then as it is today.

"LOOK HOW FAR YOU'VE COME"-JAMIE OWENS COLLINS

There's nothing wrong with the God of My Understanding, but I've got some cleaning up to do and when I surrender to do the right thing even if it hurts the healing will begin.

I've got to do better than using the Lord's name over and over and over again in vain, in futility.

Right actions lead to right feelings.    Why did I put the good feelings ahead of the right actions in the first place?
