The Battle of Brexit and Prime Minister Boris Johnson meeting the Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar in Dublin Monday and saying this:


"I've looked carefully at no-deal.   I've assessed it consequences both for our country and yours.   Yes, of course we could do it, the UK could certainly get through it.    But be in no doubt that outcome would be a failure of statecraft for which we would all be responsible"


Reaction from Nigel Farage, Brexit Party leader on Twitter in part:

Late Monday night around 2 am London time, 9 pm Eastern US time the planned suspension of Parliament beginning ahead of a Queen's speech in mid-October that will lay out Prime Minister Boris Johnson's agenda.


Before the suspension another attempt to call an election failing in the House of Commons.



The attack on Shiite militias near Syria's border with Iraq on Sunday followed reports that a "large Iranian base" was being established in the area.


The opposition affiliated Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports that 18 were killed.


NOW ISRAEL CLAIMS AN ATTEMPT TO LAUNCH MISSILES ON ISRAEL FROM AN IRANIAN BASE NEAR DAMASCUS AND BLAMES SYRIA'S GOVERNMENT FOR THE ALLEGED ATTEMPT TO LAUNCH MISSILES. WHICH ISRAEL SAYS HAPPENED JUST BEFORE THE ATTACK IN EASTERN SYRIA.

Later in the day Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appearing before the media with information about an Iranian nuclear site including pictures outside the facility.


Poilitical opponents saw his appearance releasing the information about the now dismantled as pre-election spin.


But continuing into night a drone attack reported in Iraq's Anbar province with an ammunition dump being targeted.


The United States considering sanctions against Turkey for its purchase of the Russian S-400 air defense system.

That word from Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin made the comments speaking to reporters outside the White House.




Opposition candidates won 19 of the 45 seats in the Moscow parliament elections Sunday.

Some of the "liberal" opposition candidates were thrown off the ballot leading to mass protests and arrests.

In the end the opposition united around candidates most likely to win.

But the United Russia Party candidates won 26 of the seats.


North Korea agreeing to come back to the table for nuclear talks with the United States.

Early Tuesday morning North Korea firing two missiles in its latest test.
