A critical vote in the House of Commons Tuesday amid high drama over Brexit.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson losing the vote with a majority rejecting a "No-Deal" Brexit.

In the hours before the key vote, a Conservative MP defected to the anti-Brexit Liberal Democrats to take away the majority in the House of Commons for Prime Minister Boris Johnson's government.

Now Prime Minister Johnson pushing for a vote with a 2/3 majority required to call a snap election.

The Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage's reaction to the deteriorating political situation in the UK Tuesday was to warn that the democratic will of the people expressed to Leave the European Union is threatened.

Farage said in part:

"I fear that we are headed rapidly towards a very, very dark place"-LINK

Iran is signaling a willingness for its president to meet with President Trump.    An Iranian spokesman has said President Hassan Rouhani is willing to meet Trump if it advances Iran's interests.

French President Emmanuel Macron is reported by a French diplomat to be attempting to arrange such a meeting during the United Nations General Assembly meeting later this month.

France is also reported to be working on a 15 billion dollar deal with Iran as an incentive for compliance with the 2015 JCPOA nuclear deal.

Meanwhile the Iranian president is ruling out bilateral talks with the United States and setting a Thursday deadline for progress on the nuclear deal issue in the midst of the French mediation efforts.

The Five Star Movement and Democratic Party in Italy are in agreement on a program for a new government.    There are 26 points in the agreement emphasizing both spending to stimulate the economy and a limiting of spending dictated by European Union rules.

The Five Star Movement holding an online ballot today with its members voting on the proposed coalition government.   80 percent voted in favor of the new government.

Israeli politics and the leader of the main opposition party, the "Blue amd White", former IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz says his aim if he is asked to form a government will be to unite '"secular" parties including Likud in a new government and keep religious parties out of government.

Israeli voters go to the polls two weeks from today in the second general election this year.

Libertarian activist and former Republican Congressman Ron Paul seeing a rough economic road ahead.    His "Ron Paul Report" for Monday of this week speaks of the notion that the:

Walmart deciding in the aftermath of the mass murder attack at one of its stores in El Paso last month to stop selling ammunition for firearms.

Walmart will stop selling ammo for pistols and for what it calls:

"military style weapons"

Walmart is also asking customers not to open carry firearms in its stores, even though it may be legal.

HURRICANE DORIAN

At least seven are confirmed dead in the Bahamas as Hurricane Dorian pulls away to the northwest.

Maximum sustained winds are down to 110 miles per hour.

The storm will move to the east of the eastern seaboard of the Untied States during the week.   This coming weekend the storm projected to make a landfall on Newfoundland in Canada.

At 11 pm Eastern time Hurricane Dorian moving north-northwest at six miles per hour centered 95 miles east of Cape Canaveral, Florida.
