I saw this morning that a man who was a popular music star of the 1960's passed away at the age of 76. Scott Walker was born in Ohio in 1943 as Scott Engel and he formed a group with two other guys called "The Walker Brothers".
Walker bigger in the UK than in the US, but this song did make it up to Number 13 in the USA in 1966, "The Sun Aint Gonna Shine Anymore".

Barbra Streisand with some powerful music there. A DJ on KFI back in the days when KFI played music introed that song "definitely a turn on".
Back in the 70's guys put posters on their wall of women like Suzanne Somers or Farrah Fawcett and there was one of Streisand with Kris Kristofferson from that "Star Is Born" movie.
I did not put up posters because on the outside I was one person and on the inside another but Streisand would have been the poster I put up.

And my story is that I was sexually molested when I was young and I did some crazy things afterwards like using alcohol and experimenting with inhalants as I "grew up" in terms of physical age.
But I obsessed on girls, infatuation including celebrities like Barbra Streisand and I kept it inside as I became politically and religiously militant on the outside.
Streisand having trouble dealing with those accusing her longtime friend Michael Jackson of sexual abuse and I have my own story to share as I just did. Some comments she is apologizing for and there's a lot of stories out there that might help her get into just how much harm is caused by sexual abuse.
Another story out there is from Laura Phillips who we all knew as McKenzie Phillips in the 1970's.
She used drugs and got fired from the TV series "One Day At A Time" and her story is that she had sex with her father, John Phillips, of "The Mamas and Papas".
I wish Barbra Streisand the best, peace and serenity, sanity and sobriety in her own life. That's how I'll leave it.
A song about infatuation and obsession to start up the next music segment. A guy in a band over in England in the 1960's obsessed with a girl named Renee and a song written and performed about it.

Sandie Shaw there singing the song that won the Eurovision Song Contest for Great Britain in 1967, "Puppet on a String" which ties into the current situation which finds the business-political elite struggling to keep the UK and its people puppets on the string of the European Union.
And it seems to be developing into quite a show with the public becoming increasingly aware that they are being had.
A key vote late night in Parliament with some Conservatives, "Independents" joining Labour to undercut Theresa May's gambit to force her deal called a "fake Brexit" by UKIP, Nigel Farage and so on. May loses 329-302.
A majority has voted to move towards new proposals on Wednesday including other ideas that aren't real Brexit plus even going for a second referendum. Didn't they get the message in the first one?

UKIP (United Kingdom Independence Party) leader Gerard Batten touting the latest polling taken late last week showing rising support for UKIP (9 percent) with the Conservatives at 36 percent and Labour at 35 percent.
People are waking up to their betrayal slowly but surely and more may be ready to vote UKIP this week.
A likely scenario for the anti-Brexit forces including the ones that claim to be for it is some sort of election ranging from a new referendum or European Parliament elections in May if there is no Brexit in coming days or even dare we say it a sudden General Election.....

Back home here in the USA is the Republican Party as conservative and constitutional as they claim?
Heck President Trump and his Republican Administration did this "bump stock ban" after the mass murder in Las Vegas but that all gets drowned out in the rage and emotion of Mueller and the Democrats etc. etc. and we are emotionalized to vote GOP like robots.
A billion dollars released by the Pentagon for "roads and fencing" but no wall in there.
Zero miles of wall built even though you are told on Twitter heck 30 times or more "The Wall Is Being Built".
And yes we also have a resumption of "catch and release" of those entering the USA illegally covered up by all the noise about Mueller in the last week or so plus a budget plan cutting funding to e-verify involving employment in this country.

We're coming down to the end of the line and there was a rally in Nice, France Monday evening for Genevieve Legay, 73, injured during a police charge a Yellow Vests Saturday. Flags with "Peace" on them in the crowd and signs like "Justice for Genevieve".
In Israel "New Right Party" co-leader Education Minister Naftali Bennett in a kibbutz near the Gaza border Monday night saying something tough needs to be done, not just bombing of empty buildings and feeling good about it.
Bennett signaling that he is more of a patriot and a Zionist than Prime Minister Netanyahu. Much criticism of the PM for sending Qatari money into Gaza (tens of millions) to pacify Hamas, then getting rockets back.
