The House of Commons rejecting Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit plan 391-242 Tuesday night.


Her government lost by a smaller margin than previously, after coming back claiming "legally binding" changes had been made to the Brexit at a sudden meeting in the hours before the vote between Mrs. May and Jean Claude Juncker of the EU.

A "free vote" set for Wednesday on exiting the EU with 'no deal'.   That option now the most popular one in public opinion polls, but not as popular among the elected officials,

If "No-Deal" fails the vote to delay Brexit is set for Thursday.

European Union leaders and political leaders from EU countries expressing fear about "chaos" that would be caused by a "No Deal" Brexit.

"Mr. Brexit" Nigel Farage tweeted Tuesday night that the vote reflects:

"a total failure of leadership"


Mrs. May losing her voice as she spoke to Parliament late Tuesday evening.

The Pro-Conservative Party "Daily Mail" headlined today "The House Of Fools" calling those who voted against her deal "fools" who prevented Brexit from happening by their rejection.

The "No-Deal" resolution to be voted on today has tricky wording in it which requires those who support "No-Deal" Brexit to vote "NO" on it.

The exact wording:

"This House declines to approve leaving the European Union without a withdrawal agreement and a framework on the future relationship on March 29"


The vote on this resolution coming in the evening.



There was concern for the fate of Venezuelan journalist Luis Carlos Diaz, who disappeared after leaving his offices Monday afternoon.

Diaz was detained by the Maduro government's secret police (SEBIN).   SEBIN agents raided his home and seized his electronics with Diaz in handcuffs early Tuesday morning.

A UN Human Rights panel visiting the country wanted access to Diaz.

The latest word is that Diaz was released late Tuesday.

US National Security Adviser John Bolton again warning the Maduro government and the security forces that any harm to President Guaido and the National Assembly will be met with a:

"significant response"


The US planning new sanctions on financial institutions related to Venezuela in the coming days.

The prosecutor for the Maduro government, Tarek Saab, moved on Tuesday to charge Interim President Juan Guaido with "sabotage" in connection with the massive power outage in the country since last Thursday.

Power came back to some 63 percent of Venezuelan electric customers Tuesday but was lost again in many areas Tuesday night.

Iran will respond firmly to any Israeli naval action against its oil shipments.  That word Wednesday from the country's defense minister.

Amir Hatami spoke one week after Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel could take action against Iranian oil smuggling activities in violation of US sanctions.

A firebomb attack on an Israeli police post at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem Tuesday afternoon.

One officer suffered from smoke inhalation.

Police went onto the Temple Mount and took Arab suspects into custody.

The Palestinian Authority denounced the "Zionist attack" on the Al Aqsa Mosque and called for mass protests.

is what the Federal Aviation Administration says its found regarding Boeing 737 Max aircraft following two deadly crashes in five months involving that type of plane.

But foreign nations including China, the UK, European Union, Australia, Singapore and others have banned Boeing 737 Max aircraft from flying.

Republican and Democrat Senators calling on the FAA to ground the planes including Ted Cruz of Texas, Mitt Romney of Utah, Edward Markey of Massachusetts and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut.

In the first crash in Indonesia, pilots were reported to be struggling with an automated system to deal with stalling and that brings us to two tweets President Trump has sent out in the last 24 hours.  They read:

Tommy Robinson was in court in the UK on Tuesday, not the about the "contempt of court" case set for a new trial later this month, but Tommy suing police for harassing him and his family.

The Cambridgeshire Police came after Tommy Robinson and his family as they were out watching a soccer match.

The case continuing today in Peterborough, England.

As many as ten women appearing in court in Saudi Arabia today.   The women's rights activists accused of supporting 'hostile elements'.

There are fears they could be given long jail sentences.

More than 30 nations criticized Saudi Arabia last week at the UN Human Rights Forum for arresting the women's rights activists.

Four of the jailed women have said they were tortured by Saudi authorities.

Cardinal George Pell sentenced in Australia after his conviction on five child sex abuse charges.

Pell getting six years in prison with eligibility for parole after three years and eight months.

He is appealing his conviction with the appeal to be heard in June.

California Governor Gavin Newsom set to sign an executive order Wednesday that will impose a moratorium on executions in the state.  Newsom's action will spare 737 inmates on California's death row.

The state has not carried out any executions since 2006 while court battles have raged over execution methods.

In signing the moratorium, Newsom is fulfilling a promise he made when he campaigned for governor last year.

The US Attorney in Boston indicting dozens of people in an admissions cheating case including current and former coaches at some of the nation's top universities.

The alleged scheme involved parents paying the founder of a college prep business to have someone else take college admission tests for their children.

It also allegedly involved payments to coaches at leading universities.

Besides those coaches charged in the case many wealthy parents and people associated with the college prep business.

Among those charged, "Desperate Housewives" star Felicity Huffman who appeared in court in Los Angeles Tuesday and was freed on 250-thousand dollars bail.

Also indicted, actress Lori Loughlin, best known for the television series "Full House".

She's turning herself in Wednesday.
