NEXTRUSH UNPLUGGED: SATURDAY NIGHT VERSION

Music Links:

Here we go late Saturday evening for a short time I have a life beyond these blog post but got in the Yellow Vests update for today.

The protests continue and the government put on its show after the anarchists mayhem in Paris the other week.

Yellow Vests want reforms, a better tax structure instead of the one that hurts the little people on the pretense of saving the planet from climate change.

The climate change fraud to me seems like one designed by big business to con liberal progressive people into pushing through taxes and higher utility bills so the big business folks don't have to pay the freight of the big government welfare states of the world.

That's my two cents.

The world turns on Brexit Remainers hitting the streets Saturday and the lamentations of Peter Hitchens in his "Mail On Sunday"  column.

Read the whole thing don't get upset because he trashed President Trump.

Donald Trump is my President and I voted for him but he's not my Higher Power, he's not the Almighty.  I think Trump talks loud and that does not translate into meaningful action on issues in the end.

His decision to keep troops in Syria in the John McCain tradition masked by his trashing of McCain during a speech even as he carries out the McCain policy and keeps US soldiers in Syria.   The latest breaking from Syria is ahead.....

A lot in there about the Brexit thing and decline and fall of the UK, a lot in there to agree or disagree with.

Music from the Big Band Era up through the 1950's tonight I listened to Chuck Cecil's "Swingin Years" programs for decades and always enjoyed that music its part of my hard drive.

A political earthquake in the Dutch provincial elections with the Forum for Democracy emerging at the largest party in those elections with 86 out of 570 seats.    They didn't run in the last elections.
Geert Wilders Party of Freedom cut back to 41 seats from 66.

James Kirkpatrick writing at 'VDARE' offers his opinion about the new party and how its success could be emulated in this country, the land of the Republicans and Democrats who are both bought and paid for by big banks and business.

The Russians have hit the jihadists with airstrikes in the last week or so.

Now tonight from Russia's Tass News Agency....

"At least 21 people were hospitalized in Syria after developing symptoms of toxic gas poisoning, the SANA news agency said in a Twitter post Saturday night..."

Tass quoting the Syrian government news agency there and here is a link to Tass

This attack happening in northern Hama province with projectiles launched from Idlib province by the militants there

Time to shut down and rest.   Hope you find that next right thing to do.  Better sober and sane than the other way.

The singer here from the pioneering days of Contemporary Christian Music says to 'turn it over' to the "Higher Power".
