YELLOW VESTS FRANCE WEEK 83: YELLOW PROTEST CONTINUES WITH BIG 'ANTI-RACISM' PROTESTS TAKING OVER CITY STREETS
The French government estimates that more than 25-thousand people participated in protests against police violence last Saturday. Extreme force by police always an issue during the Yellow Vests protests.
Out in the countryside and in places like the Alpine region near the Swiss and Italian borders the Yellow Vests gathered on the highways and byways at places like traffic circles.
But in the cities the Yellow was mixed in with others who came out on the streets to join the torrent of protest following the police murder of George Floyd in the United States.
The protests continue today inspite of a ban on large public gatherings the Interior Minister Christophe Castaner moving to allow the protests.
President Emmanuel Macron's government also moving to ban the "chokehold" by French police with Mr. Castaner saying it will no longer be taught in police training.
In Paris yesterday a police union protest with horns honking on vehicles and police in Bordeaux and other cities throwing handcuffs on the ground in disgust at the government's move and the accusations of racism and excessive force......
Today tens of thousands expected in Paris for the protest and a large crowd visible by early afternoon with some protesters wearing Yellow Vests........

Protests continued today but the intense protests and violence in the United States over the murder of George Floyd have set a benchmark for protest in other countries which the anarchists were quick to exploit in Paris today.
The theme of police violence a dominant one across France today as other people mixed in to protest with the Yellow Vests.
That's the Yellow Vests story for this week......
