In Albuquerque, New Mexico police in riot gear arriving on the scene Monday evening to arrest members of the "New Mexico Civil Guard" after a protester was shot and critically wounded by a man who was pulled to the ground by a group of protesters.

The armed group protecting a statue outside the Albuquerque Museum that protesters demanded removal of.     Police used tear gas and projectiles to battle the protesters who were attacking the statue.

The Mayor, Tim Keller, later said the statue would be removed....KOB-TV REPORT
