Some Philadelphia music in the mix to start and this week in Philly the Frank Rizzo statue came down.
Rizzo was Police Commissioner and then Mayor of that city. He was big and his image flashed on the screen in this early 1970's news opening for WPVI-TV "Action News"

But onto Oregon where the feds decided to take on the "extremists" and "domestic terrorists".
They set up an ambush and used flash bangs (sound familiar) and they ended up killing LaVoy Finicum and wounding Ryan Bundy.....OREGON STATE POLICE ATTEMPT TO INTIMIDATE LAVOY FINICUM
The Oregon State Police sniper who did the dirty work was not wearing a body cam as required by the OSP rules but he got promoted from Lieutenant to Captain....

When will the man identified in a trial as Captain Casey Codding face justice?????????
The hatred of the Bundy's and their supporters that led to the Finicum murder in January 2016 was cultivated in federal law enforcement and criminal justice circles with the federal probe of the Bunkerville Standoff in 2014 seeking to pin charges on those who came exercising their Constitutional Rights back then.
Whistleblower Larry Wooten wrote his memo and I used that information in conjunction with a post I wrote on the anniversary of LaVoy's death.
