Strong denials from President Trump and Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell about reporting from the "New York Times" and other mainstream media.     That reporting quotes an intelligence official as saying that a Russian intelligence unit offered bounties to kill US soldiers in Afghanistan and that President Trump was told about it.

A SUSPECT UNDER ARREST AFTER THE DEADLY SHOOTING AT A PROTEST IN LOUISVILLE LAST NIGHT.    THE MAN HAD BEEN ARRESTED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE  FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT AND WAS INJURED WHEN TAKEN INTO CUSTODY.....BBC NEWS




After a day of rumors about an armed militia group coming to counter protest demonstrators occupying a park in downtown Louisville, Kentucky one man shot and killed an another person wounded Saturday night.

The Justice Department announcing charges against four men in connection with the attack on the statue of Andrew Jackson at Lafayette Square in Washington last Monday.



Lee Michael Cantrell,   Connor Matthew Judd, Ryan Lane and Graham Lloyd are the accused.   Judd was arrested on Friday and appeared in court yesterday.   The others have not been arrested yet.....JUSTICE DEPARTMENT NEWS RELEASE





The name of a former US President being removed by the university he was once president of.    Woodrow Wilson's name no longer being used on Princeton University's school of public policy or on a dormitory building.    The Board of Trustees met Friday to make the decision.     The university citing Wilson's "racist thinking and policies" for the move.....NJ.COM STORY



The exit polling in the first round of Poland's presidential election today shows incumbent Andrzej Duda with 41.8 percent of the vote and his main opponent Warsaw Mayor Rafa Trzaskowski with 30.4 percent of the vote.     The race will have to go to a second round between the two on July 12th.  Duda is from the Euroskeptic and Nationalist Law and Justice Party while Trzaskowski represents the pro-EU Mainstream Civic Platform Party......TASS STORY



A low turnout for the second round of France's municipal election and a generally disappointing night for President Emmanuel Macron's  LaREM  Party.   "Green" candidates won many major cities with Socialist incumbent Anne Hidalgo re-elected the mayor in Paris.   Another Socialist, Martine Aubry, won re-election as mayor of Lille.     



Macron's Prime Minister Edouard Philippe did win election as mayor in the port city of Le Havre and he's expected to designate a substitute to take the post.    And the National Rally Party of Marine Le Pen won control of the southern French city of Perpignan.   Its the first time the National Rally has won control of a French city with a population above 100,000 people.



CORONAVIRUS STATS KEEP ROLLING OUT AND TODAY THEY SHOW 8,530  NEW CASES IN FLORIDA, 5,240 IN CALIFORNIA, 4,330 IN TEXAS AND 3,857  IN ARIZONA ALONG WITH 2,225 IN GEORGIA.
