Tonight protests continuing in spite of curfew restrictions in numerous US cities over the murder of George Floyd by a former Minneapolis police officer.    One site of the protests is the White House with a group gathered outside late this evening.....LIVE VIDEO WHITE HOUSE PROTEST

Protesters on the streets of Louisville tonight over the Floyd killing and that of Breonna Taylor in a no-knock police raid on March 13th.     Police said it was a drug raid but they found no drugs at her residence......VIDEO LINK

"I have no idea if it was planned or not.   I do know that a man lost his life in a terrible, senseless, violent way and it makes me sick.    It upsets me to no end that officers of the law treat people the way they do.    As if they are part of a higher species that the rest of us.   But now?   Just seem to be impeccable timing for a national change of the headlines."

The Russian Embassy in the US condemning police attacks on journalists covering the street protests-riots going on in the country.

The embassy wrote on its Facebook account that rubber bullets and tear gas were used against journalists and especially noted the case of Sputnik producer Nicole Rousell who was beaten by police with batons and fired on with flash bang rounds sustaining injuries.     Sputnik is a Russian governmenrt owned media outlet......TASS NEWS STORY

Twitter suspending hundreds of accounts that claimed there was a communications blackout in Washington   DC  designed to hamper protests in the city.    Another account suspended with Twitter saying it was inciting violence.......BBC NEWS

PRIMARY ELECTION DAY TODAY IN EIGHT STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.   ONE STATE WITH RESULTS TONIGHT IS RHODE ISLAND WHERE JOE BIDEN IS PROJECTED THE WINNER OVER BERNIE SANDERS WHO DROPPED OUT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE EARLIER THIS YEAR.......

The Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte doing a U-turn on an agreement to allow US forces in his country.    In February Duterte had said he was backing away from a "Visting Forces Agreement" with the US when a US visa for a former police chief and Senator was revoked.    His foreign minister says things have changed since then leading to decision to continue the agreement.....RUSSIA TODAY
