The police are in the downtown area a firm barrier does not exist around Parliament although the barrier is extensive. The police have checkpoints to prevent more people from entering downtown Ottawa.
Uniformed police present and no doubt police in civilian clothes and informants trying to provoke the crowd. Fireworks set off in the middle of the night noise you could hear for blocks. Who did that?
