THE NEW ZEALAND HERALD REPORTS ON A POLICE OPERATION TO STRENGTHEN CONCRETE BARRICADES AT THE FREEDOM CAMP PROTEST IN WELLINGTON 2/24/2022-NEWS STORY

In sea of twisted and negative news reporting some of the truth published early Friday by the "New Zealand Herald" about the harsh and intimidating tactics of police whose leader say they intend to end the protest against COVID mandates near Parliament as we move into the weekend.

Police want to shut down the Freedom Camp in Wellington this weekend but they are also looking at a series of nationwide protests planned Saturday.

The Freedom and Rights Coalition plans 92 family-friendly protests across New Zealand with the police fearful of one on the Sky Harbor Bridge in Auckland the country's largest city proclaiming in advance the illegality of such a protest.

The TFRC is associated with Brian Tamaki who is the founder of Destiny Church a Pentecostal mega church in New Zealand.

Tamaki repeatedly arrested for protesting COVID mandates and subject to house arrest banned from speaking out against COVID mandates in New Zealand.

TFRC says that if the COVID mandates are not lifted by 10 am next Tuesday non-compliance actions will take place across the country.

INJURED WOMAN RECOUNTS HER EXPERIENCE IN NEW ZEALAND POLICE ASSAULT TWO WEEKS AGO WHEN 20 WERE HURT

There's been a video posted online regarding the events of Thursday February 10th when there was a police assault on the protest in the front of the Parliament building that involved 120 arrests.

BREAKING NEWS: NEW ZEALAND HIGH COURT RULES AGAINST VACCINE MANDATES FOR POLICE AND MILITARY

Hundreds of police and soldiers in New Zealand who faced loss of their jobs next Tuesday (March 1st) have won their challenge to a government vaccine mandate.

The court ruling stressed support for vaccination but said other means to stay safe from COVID like regular testing and staying at home were not taken into account.

The "New Zealand Herald" reported today that 18 people debarked from a boat in Wellington Harbor to join the protest.     They traveled across the Cook Strait from the South Island.
