BREAKING NEWS: END COVID MANDATES, RESTRICTIONS PROTEST IN AUSTRALIA'S CAPITAL CITY CANBERRA SATURDAY 2/5/2022 CALL FOR MILLIONS TO JOIN IN THE AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL
The protest started Monday in Canberra and as the week wore on the police forces began intimidation and provocation campaigns at the makeshift encampents in what is called the "Parliamentary Triangle".
Protest organizers found a new camping area 12 kilometers away and almost all protesters moved out as police moved in on Friday with the mainstream media in tow.
Some decided to get into confrontations but police took aggressive actions against individuals who were not aggressive towards them.

At the rally was retired airline pilot Graham Hood a leading COVID protest figure in the country. Hood retired early from his job at Qantas over the vaccine mandate.
Here he is speaking of Australians on the battlefields of World War I in France, then other wars until Vietnam that Aussies participated in. He was speaking near Australia's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier earlier this week...
Hood delivered another passionate speech to the thousands gathered at the rally Saturday.

The rally featuring Graham Hood as a speaker and also featured singing and chanting the songs "I Am Australian" and "Waltzing Matilda" among those sung.
Hundreds of flags waving in the crowd.
Hood reminded the crowd of the battlefield sacrifices of Australians who volunteered for overseas service (they weren't drafted) in both World Wars.
Other speakers as well one of them saying that Australians need to stay in their capital city until the COVID vaccine mandates and restrictions are lifted.
He noted that five million committed Australians could change the country and urged that number to show up in Canberra condemning "pedophile protecting politicians" among other things.
Attendees were warned about "troublemakers" who have infiltrated the protest.
The speakers called for pressure on the Governor General to dissolve Parliament and allow new elections in Australian.
More protests are planned in Canberra in the days ahead and we will be waiting to see what happens.
But for today thousands are in Canberra some at the rally and others on the streets.
In the coming week Parliament will back in session in Canberra.
The official estimate of police today "in excess of 2,000" that's are far as they go.
The video from various locales and angles I would say 10,000 or more not sure what more is right now when it's all said and done.
Thousands have marched from the Old Parliament House rally to the New Parliament House where another rally is planned.
As of 3 pm local time Saturday (11 pm Eastern US Time Friday) the rally at the New Parliament House continues.
The livestream linked above continues to function as it has for five hours straight at this point.
