Its Tuesday right now in New Zealand and Tuesday morning police assaulted the Freedom Convoy protest opposing COVID mandates now called a Freedom Camp.
The police formed up in lines and moved concrete barriers deeper into the protest camp area near New Zealand's Parliament.
Incidents of protesters resisting police claimed by the police and mainstream media causing the situation to be described as an "outbreak of violence"...

There seem to be provocateurs in the mix people the police have called a 'criminal element' but the police continue their own provocative moves into the camp.

Scenes playing out today included a car driving into a line of police forcing them to separate...A video report linked later in this post pointing to this incident as a 'fake news event'.
The Government of Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern the Labor and Green parties as well as the more conservative National and ACT parties not engaging in any dialogue with the protest movement about and immediate end of the mandates including those related to vaccines.
Late Monday this statement issued by the protest movement in Wellington read in part:
"It is a disgrace that not just Labour but all political parties in New Zealand continue to favor their own political self-interest over public health and human rights.
History will show that the harm caused by the mandates will massive exceed that caused by Covid-19 in 2022.
Drop the mandates now, Jacinda, and get out of our lives."

Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jim Bolger told "Radio New Zealand" Tuesday that there should be a meeting between political leaders and the protesters.
For her part Jacinda Ardern now claiming the protests has "gone too far" and needs to end in remarks made Tuesday afternoon....(TV One, New Zealand Herald)
A video report was posted from the protest Tuesday reporting on the events of the day Maori New Zealanders serving papers on police at one point.
The car incident is also shown in the nearly seven minute report with the poster saying it was something done in the presence of the mainstream media and appears to be some sort of 'set-up' to create negative spin about the protest.

Disinformation appears to be the order of the day with at least one You Tube channel up doing video about the protest trying to discredit it.
The protesters are asking for proof that anything was thrown at police at the police as they and mainstream media assert. Its claimed today that three police officers had an unknown substance thrown at them.

This afternoon former Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters paid a visit to the Freedom Camp protest. Mr. Peters not currently an elected parliament member his New Zealand First party wiped out in the last election in 2020.
Late in the afternoon police moving concrete posts (barriers) with a fork lift as protesters shouted "love and peace" in their direction.
The police moved down Bowen Street near Parliament...(TV One News)
This activity taking place on Bowen Street where it meets Lambton Quay which is another street where protesters are parked and encamped.
Dancing and singing said to be going on at the protest after 5 pm local time on Tuesday.
