Japan had to make a decision to either buckle under or take action to get it needed.
They opted for all out war including an attack on the US Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor.

Iran breaking away from the nuclear deal the US walked away from a year ago.
Iran looks like it intends to force the issue with resumption of uranium enrichment at the end of a 60 day period unless Russia, China and the three European countries (France, Germany and the UK) do business with them in defiance of US sanctions.
Iran saying if they end up being taken to the UN Security Council the five powers face a "very decisive reaction".
Israel intelligence reportedly telling the US of a threat from Iran and the US moving military forces into the region ahead of this announcement by Iran. Israel has Iran spied on pretty well to be ahead of this decision by its government.
Does Iran envision the closing of the Strait of Hormuz through which 20 percent of the world's oil passes?

President Trump did impose new sanctions on Iran today (Wednesday May 8th) and then said:

If Trump has talked with Kim Jong-un, I see no reason why he can't talk to Iran's leaders, I see no reason.

Breaking News......An arrest in Venezuela tonight by agents of Nicolas Maduro's government involving.
Edgar Zambrano, Vice-President of the National Assembly. Juan Guaido being the President of that body.
Zambrano refused to leave his car when approached by Maduro's secret police from SEBIN. So they towed him and his car off to captivity.
Back to the flow of the post and the music I used to listen to with my earbud and transistor radio on my way to school at the beginning of the 1970's.
It was country music and I was a hurt and wounded person frozen in childishness by wounds, real and imagined.
The real involving sexual matters and when I think of sexual abuse, I understand how one reacts. Passion in my life about religion and politics would consume so much of a life that was one of intoxication.
So Wednesday in the United Kingdom the saga of industrial scale child sexual abuse continues in the context of the Muslim community.
So many coverups and excuses in these cases that involve prominent people in education, government, sports, entertainment but this time the codewords of coverup in the United Kingdom of massive sexual abuse of children were:
"Muliculturalism"
"Diversity"
"Inclusion"
And when someone came along to exercise free speech and act as a journalist in these matters, he is arrested, summarily tried, thrown into prison where he loses dozens of pounds in two months.
And folks like Nigel Farage say in essence:
"Amen"
And they still drag out the case of Tommy Robinson to keep the threat of more prison over him.
But now word that a new investigation in a community already hurt deeply by the massive child sexual abuse industry in the Islamic subculture.
In Rotheram, a new police investigation into 40 more people.

A quick note. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will remain in Washington Thursday in lieu of a scheduled visit to Greenland. Mortgan Ortagus of the State Department cited "a need for the secretary to be in Washington DC today".

At the end of the line and attorneys for Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have until tomorrow (Friday May 10th) to ask for a "pre-indictment hearing" to review the evidence in three corruption cases where indictment is recommended against Mr. Netanyahu.
If the hearing is requested, AG Avichai Mandelblit says it must happen by July 10th.
North Korea fires an "unidentified projectile" from the north west part of the country at around 330 am Eastern time here in the US. A Japanese sources speaks of "several projectiles". Here is more from Japan's Kyodo News Agency.....LINK
