And the Lord's Prayer with Sister Janet Mead singing. That was Australia 1973 and a recording that hit the Top 10 here in USA.
But there's the story of Australia Now and the Turkish pro-government newspaper "Yeni Safak" tells us that....
Jeremy Hearn the Liberal Party candidate in May 18th's General Election for the seat of Isaacs in Victoria state.
This happening in the party of the "conservative" Prime Minister Scott Morrison. Morrison a big supporter of Israel but of course nowadays supporting Israel to the political elites means supporting the nation who's ideology is behind terrorism around the world, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, also the heartland of Islam.
And my gut feeling is that money is the reason. President Trump went there in May 2017 and talked about business with Saudi Arabia including the investment in our "infrastructure".
"Infrastructure" the big topic of discussion with 2 trillion dollars of spending Trump, Pelosi, Schumer all together on this at the White House Tuesday.
Getting back to Australia.

You wonder why Independent Senator Fraser Anning has a following and Senator Pauline Hanson of One Nation has a following "Down Under"?
"there is a kind of complacency of the government"
is the quote from Marine Le Pen, France's leading opposition politician, as the anarchists again invade the streets of Paris this time disrupting the Left-Trade Union May Day parade instead of their usual mischief at Yellow Vests events.
Various labor union groups and leaders forced to leave the procession in the midst of the battles between police and anarchists Wednesday with hundreds of arrests.
It was just a "small coup" in Venezuela, nothing to see Maduro and his crowd says but here's the scene in one city outside of Caracas.....
ONE CITY IN VENEZUELA MAY 1ST
No violence from the protesters, no violence whatsoever.
The mainstream media biased in favor of Maduro, anti-Trump etc. not on the side of those millions in the streets today.

We need some peace here, I need it and lets bring in some music from Dalida, the French singer singing in Arabic from decades ago.....

Over in the UK I read a Marco Rubio tweet and the BBC with the firing of the British Defense Minister over disclosing the details of Chinese (Huawei) investment in the British 5G system.
Poor western countries in debt need money from rich countries like China and Theresa May looks to be on the side of taking the Chinese Communist money.
(1015 PM EASTERN TIME)
Back and looking at the developments in the UK, Marco Rubio warning Theresa May using her address not to do business with Huawei. The US trying to get Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou extradited from Canada right now to face charges here.
Theresa May on one side, Donald Trump on the other. Trump opposing Chinese influence favoring closer ties to the money of Japan and Saudi Arabia.
Trump's friend in the UK Nigel Farage out on the campaign trail and tearing into Theresa May's Tories with his Brexit Party campaign for the European Parliament elections. The Tories taking a beating in the polling data.
The real "Game of Thrones".....

Back with you and the casualty figures from Venezuela 1 dead and 27 wounded. The Maduro regime thugs attacking protesters.
Interim President Juan Guaido's message is that there is no turning back and urging government workers to stay home on Thursday. Strikes and protests will continue until a legitimate government takes power.
Over 50 nations recognize the elected National Assembly President Juan Guaido as Venezuela's President.
And onward we go. Folk music very popular in the USA when I was barely out of diapers and songs like this one from a group called "The Highwaymen".

The music I loved in the 1970's, country music, sung by folks like Dolly Parton.
On the news front, a lot of military activity reported in northern Syria on May Day by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. 50 airstrikes on the jihadists by the Russian and Syrian air forces.
More on this from "Southfront".......LINK

News by the numbers.....In the UK Tommy Robinson looking for 100-thousand pounds to support his election campaign for European Parliament from North West England.
164-thousand protesters estimated by the government on the streets of France for May Day. The peaceful multitude of trade unionists and some Yellow Vests totally discredited by the "black blocks" of anarchists with their mayhem.
They make Macron look good and Marine Le Pen as we mentioned earlier wonders out loud why the government allows them to show up in the first place?
One thing for sure, their violence discredits opponents of Macron and helps his cause.

No Nigel Farage "Brexit Party" in the local government elections in the UK today but the United Kingdom Independence Party is contesting many seats with UKIP leader Gerard Batten urging votes for UKIP today, every vote for UKIP is a vote for Brexit is the message.
Also contesting for local government seats is the "For Britain Movement" and their Twitter page answered someone asking about Saudi Arabia 11 hours ago. The claim was made that "For Britain" leader Anne Marie Waters is not a critic of Saudi Arabia. Here's the response.....LINK

Coming down to the end and today is Holocaust Remembrance Day, torches being lit at Auschwitz in Poland and in Israel today the sirens sound and everything comes to a standstill. See this video...LINK
Also today is the first Thursday of May, the National Day of Prayer. President Trump spoke last night at the White House and here's what he had to say....WHITE HOUSE TWITTER VIDEO
One prayer I'm familiar with is the "Serenity Prayer" that begins with "God grant me the serenity" and the song at the end contains that phrase in it.
My experience is that the prayer with the right words followed by the right actions seems to be the right kind of prayer.
Have a good day......
