THE BATTLE OF BREXIT:  EU REBUFFS THERESA MAY'S ATTEMPT TO RENEGOTIATE BREXIT

"......and what we've seen is an appreciation in Britain that unelected bureaucrats in Brussels have been talking down to and humiliating the Prime Minister of our nation and we don't like it...."

Nigel Farage Speaks In The European Parliament 1/30/2019-FULL SPEECH LINK

Nigel Farage sees the attitude of the EU and its stiff necked refusal to respond to Prime Minister Theresa May's efforts to amend the Brexit agreement as opening a door to a strong negative reaction in the UK which could propel a "No-Deal" Brexit across the finish line on the date of Brexit, March 29th.

She played to both sides of the debate in passing amendments in the House of Commons Tuesday and brought both sides together for the moment.

But what does she need to do after its all said and done in the weeks ahead?

Offering his opinion in the European Parliament Wednesday was United Kingdom Indpendence Party leader Gerard Batten, who said in part:

"If the British Parliament prevents Brexit happening then they would have put themselves in open rebellion against the British people.  This will have profound consequences for any belief left in democracy in the United Kingdom"

In a late development Batten has asked Her Majesty The Queen to "prorogue" Parliament until after the March 29th Brexit deadline so a withdrawal with "No Deal" can be accomplished.
