THE BATTLE OF BREXIT:  AMENDMENTS ON THE TABLE POINT TO GUTTING OF THE LEAVE VOTE IN 2016 REFERENDUM

As the votes on Brexit amedments loom, the anti-Brexit forces that dominate the House of Commons seem poised to hijack Brexit to destroy it and or delay it past the 'firm' March 29th date previously claimed by Prime Minister Theresa May.

The latest fear propaganda against the "No-Deal" Brexit, real Brexit as defined by "Mr. Brexit" Nigel Farage and United Kingdom Independence Party leader Gerard Batten, came from grocery-food retailers in the UK.

They claimed that "No-Deal" Brexit threatens food security and would lead to empty shelves.

McDonalds, Sainsbury's and Asda, Walmart's branch in the UK, among the retailers of food fearful of the "No-Deal" Brexit.

Speaking to a caller on the "Nigel Farage Show" Monday both Nigel Farage and the caller agreed that Prime Minister Theresa May's game throughout the whole Brexit process appears to be:

"Brexit In Name Only"

The Prime Minister wants her Conservative Party members to support an Irish backstop amendment Tuesday that is vague in its wording.    The Democratic Unionist Party is deeply distressed by the deal Mrs. May wants and oppose it because it ties the north of Ireland into the south too tightly.

The vague wording of the amendment suggests there is no firm plan to satisfy Unionist objections.

In the end Speaker John Bercow will make the call on which amendments will be voted on with votes set to begin at 7 pm London time, 2 pm in the Eastern US Tuesday.

  1. Farange is a fascist stooge who has served his purpose. he has as much to say about the future of Brexit as last week's haddock.

    1. Pretty tough criticism but for the moment I an willing to listen to Farage, Gerard Batten at UKIP and Tommy Robinson, plus other voices on Brexit and the EU including Peter Hitchens.

There's a lot of different views in that mix but I will listen to all.
