It looks like police in France launched a crackdown on night time Yellow Vests protests in France tonight.
The protesters to the Bastille tonight in the hundreds with Yellow Vests milling about and talking but police had another idea.
Jerome Rodriguez, a media associate of Yellow Vests figure Eric Drouet, was injured in the eye by police and word was out late in the evening that he is losing his eye.
The police are saying it was not a flashball shot but a grenade that injured him.
Meanwhile in Bordeaux a Yellow Vests figure named Maxine Nicolle was arrested and detained until late this evening where hundreds had gathered for an evening protest.

It is truly ironic that the French government is warning the government in Venezuela not to harm protesting citizens this week.
The common tactic in Venezuela is for the regime thugs to attack when the crowds thin out or at the edges of the protest crowd.
Tonight the French police chose to attack as protests thinned out in the evening that began at 10 am in the morning.

The official government estimate of protesters earlier in the day was 69-thousand nationwide on a mid-winter's day with wintry weather in parts of France and cold temperatures everywhere but the southern Mediterranean region. That's down from last week's government estimate of 84-thousand Yellow Vests.
