FRANCE LATEST: "MACRON YOU'RE SCREWED, CHICKS ARE IN THE STREET" BANNER AS WOMEN STAGE SUNDAY PROTEST
Emphasizing among other points that they are not feminists, women were protesting in groups in various French cities Sunday with some 300 estimated in Toulouse for example where a large banner was used by the protesters.
In Paris, Toulouse and Caen among other places the protests occurred.

One of those involved in Caen was a riding instructor, Chloe Tessier who said in part:
"The government wants to make us look like thugs, but today we are mothers, grandmothers, we are the daughters, the sisters of all citizens....It is during social crises that women's rights are most at risk"
A Faebook group "Women's yellow vests" has sprung up in France and today its members were visible in the country.

Aliot said the game of "cat and mouse" between the government and the protesters must end with a dialogue established between the two sides.
He called for legislative action to enact reforms in France and new elections for the National Assembly on the basis of proportional representation.
