FRANCE BREAKING: YELLOW VESTS PROTESTS CONTINUE THIS WEEKEND
(LATEST NEWS AT BOTTOM OF POST WITH UPDATES WHEN ABLE UNTIL 830 AM EASTERN US TIME)
Another weekend of Yellow Vests protests in France began last night in the northern port city of Dunkirk with 400 rallying during the evening hours.
Today in Paris four demonstrations have been declared beginning at 10 am and wrapping up tonight at 10 pm.
The Secretary of State for the Interior Ministry Laurent Nunez says police will focus on Paris with at least 7-thousand deployed.
He did not offer full details of police plans for the weekend.

At his Friday afternoon news conference Nunez acknowledged that police will be experimenting with use of cameras on officers using the flash ball-flash bang guns.
Nunez expressing the hope that video obtained would help to justify police use of the flash balls and gather evidence against people protesting.

Yellow Vests protesting in all those locations and in Paris as well.
Now seeing video from Rouen, France on the north coast, which has been a major site of Yellow Vests protests.

Several processions of Yellow Vests now on the move through the streets of Paris with an ultimate goal for the processions the Place de la Bastille at 5pm for the evening protest rally.

Protests across the country with video from Strasbourg and Rennes, Marseille as well to add to the other cities already mentioned.
One of the protests in Paris at the Ministry of Overseas Territories began at 1 pm and the cabinet minister Annick Girardin came out to speak with the Yellow Vests protesters.
A planned meeting between Yellow Vests and the Mayor of Toulouse was cancelled because the mayor did want the meeting to be live video streamed.
Hundreds of Yellow Vests meeting together this weekend at Sorcy-Saint-Martin, France near Commercy. They represent 75 different groups from around France. They will debate demands to the government, the continuation of the movement and whether to participate in Emmanuel Macron's "town hall" meetings currently underway across the country.
