FRANCE YELLOW VESTS WEEK 80:  GOVERNMENT MOVING FORWARD WITH JUNE 28 LOCAL ELECTION VOTE, PROTEST BROKEN UP IN SAINT NAZAIRE

The second round of voting in France's municipal elections postponed when the coronavirus lockdown began in March will be carried out on Sunday June 28th.

The government apparently wanting to take advantage of a political atmosphere where its Premier Edouard Philippe has a popularity greater than that of President Emmanuel Macron.



Complaints some 71 in total filed against various government officials in France over the handling of Covid-19 with one person involved the government party's candidate for Mayor in Paris and former Health Minister Agnes Buzyn.
