NEWS SUMMARY-INTELLIGENCE REPORT THURSDAY 7/4-FRIDAY 7/5/2019  NEWSDUMP HOLIDAY EDITION

(WORK IN PROGRESS THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY)

The decisive trial of British nationalist activist and citizen journalist Tommy Robinson will be in its final day Friday after the opening arguments and testimony Thursday.

Robinson accused of contempt of court again for live streaming outside a child sex abuse trial involving Muslim defendants in Leeds, England last May 25th.

He was summarily tried that day, convicted, then spent more than two months in prison losing 40 pounds.   Robinson had to voluntarily put himself into solitary confinement and avoid eating prison food because of the threat to him from a prison population that was 30 percent of more Muslim.

He won an appeal but legal wrangling has continued with the Attorney General of British Prime Minister Theresa May again bringing the contempt charge back to trial.

Thousands rallied in the street outside the Old Bailey in London in support of Robinson and he spoke to the crowd during the day noting that his trial is a freedom of the press trial and that the mainstream media should be on his side of the case...VIDEO LINK
