President Trump coming out in defense of:



"our great American technology companies"



Friday in the face of French plans to tax them.


The President's tweet Friday says a response is on the way and that he prefers American wine to French wine suggesting that French wines will soon have a tariff imposed on them.


But no action taken as of this time.




One of those being targeted by an American tech company (Google) is Dilbert creator Scott Adams who's telling the story on Twitter about he's being demonetized by Google's "You Tube".....LINK





A now former photo editor at CNN apologizing for tweeting that victims of a terrorist attack were "Jewish pigs".



The man now identified as Mohammed Elshamy resigned from his job at the Cable News Network on Thursday night.


"Israel National News" published some details of the apology by Elshamy who said those views do not reflect his current ones......LINK



In just hours at 3 pm local time (3 am Eastern US time) pro-democracy demonstrators gathering in Hong Kong at the Yuen Long metro rail station in protest at the attack last Sunday by a masked mob that injured 45 of them returning from last Sunday's mass protest.


Police have not given permission for the protest and are warning that violence could break out in advance of the demonstration.




In the early days of France's Yellow Vests protests there were numerous demonstrations and disturbances at schools across France.


Last December 6th at a high school in Mantes-la-Jolie police staged an operation involving the mass arrest of 151 students, then forced to kneel with their hands behind their heads or handcuffed behind their backs while they were questioned.    Many students lined up against a wall.


An investigation by the Inspector General of the National Police in France is now over with no action to be taken against the police involved.  


The head of the Inspector General's office said in May that no fault was established on the part of police in the matter and that they had engaged in any "deviant behavior".

The US Supreme Court giving President Trump a victory Friday with a 5-4 ruling overturning a decision by a federal judge in California to stop spending of Defense Department funds for barriers on the southern border with Mexico in California, Arizona and New Mexico.


The US cutting a deal with Guatemala to make it easier to return Guatemalans back home after they enter the country illegally.    The deal will speed up deportation procedures for Guatemalans caught by US immigration authorities.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan telling a rally of his ruling AK Party Friday that he has retaliation in mind for the US decision to cut Turkey out of the F-35 combat aircraft program.

Erdogan saying that Turkey will reconsider its plans to buy some 100 Boeing aircraft "if our conflict continues".

Turkey is being sanctioned by the US for its decision to use the Russian S-400 air defense system.    The first S-400 components arrived there this month.
