On Wednesday Boris Johnson will become British Prime Minister after defeating Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt by a 2-1 margin in the vote of Conservative Party members.

Johnson celebrated victory when the results were announced Tuesday promising to:

"deliver Brexit, unite the country and defeat Jeremy Corbyn"

Johnson saying he will bring a new spirit of:

"can do"

to the country.

Reacting to the situation, Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage says Boris Johnson's statement about Brexit "do or die" also holds true for the future of the Conservative Party unless a real exit from the European Union is delivered.

Johnson is expected to speak from outside Number 10 Downing Street at around 11 am Eastern US Time and a cabinet shakeup is expected.

Getting back to Nigel Farage.

Farage was in Washington Tuesday and met President Trump during the day with Trump saying he hopes that Johnson and Farage work together to deliver Brexit.

Meanwhile the most famous prisoner in Britain right now, Tommy Robinson, allowed visitors Tuesday.

One of them Ezra Levant of Canada's "Rebel Media".

Levant says Tommy is being kept in isolation and also being heavily guarded for those times he goes to the exercise yard or shower.   The Governor of the prison  (Warden) is making daily visits to inquire about his condition.

And from Hong Kong word of disruption of the morning commute at a major subway station Wednesday morning.    Pro-democracy demonstrators appear to have been involved with reports that some wore surgical masks to cover their faces.
