BREAKING NEWS: VENEZUELA'S CRITICAL DAY ARRIVES WITH BORDER CLOSURE ANNOUCEMENT, ATTACKS

"First reports of attacks by Pro-Regime gangs this 23F.  A bus carrying members of the National Assembly was attacked by a Maduro gang carrying assault rifles.  Gang stole their personal belongings.  Several unarmed civilians wounded."

At around midnight word was tweeted out from the Vice-President of the Nicolas Maduro regime of closure of the border with Colombia as the date for volunteer efforts to bring humanitarian aid into Venezuela arrived, Saturday February 23rd.

Delcy Rodriguez claiming that Venezuela's sovereignty and security were threatened.

Two were killed and others injured on the Brazilian border as Venezuelan forces loyal to the Maduro regime opened fire on people trying to keep that border open after it was closed.

The White House condemning the violence and warning that the "world is watching".

On Friday an existing blockade on Colombia's border was reinforced.

Opposition blogger Daniel Duquenal, currently out of the country posted on his "Venezuela News and Views" blog that:

'the only way out for Maduro is a blood bath.  Or a yellow uniform'

Juan Guaido says that his border crossing to the concert on the Colombian border happened with the assistance of an "armed force".    The Maduro government had banned Guaido from leaving the country.

Now later this morning its expected that an effort to move aid across the border into Venezuela will occur.

Thousands shouting "freedom" at the live aid concert and "the government is going to fall".

Barriers are beginning to come down at the Colombia-Venezuela border to allow relief aid into the country.    Civilians are removing the barriers erected by the Maduro government.

Marco Rubio has tweeted that four Venezuelan National Guard members approached the civilians in armored vehicles, abandoned them and crossed into Colombia.

Venezuelans on their side of the border are encountering tear gas from other National Guard members in Táchira state.

To wrap up this post for now, four National Guard members did cross the border into Colombia today but not as deserters but to place themselves under the leadership of Interim President Juan Guaido.

Also it is being said that Venezuelan NG forces are under the direction of Cuban agents dressed in NG uniforms.
