Why A Cook Out?: That Daughter Of Bilitis Janet Reno

(WARNING: THE FOLLOWING MAY BE OFFENSIVE)

Having grown up with too much pornography in the picture, the notion of a lesbian was inevitably associated with extreme sex acts I found repulsive early in my life less so as the porn proliferated and I consumed it.

In the religious subculture at the university I went to I remember a woman resembling Rachel Maddow was in the picture.    She hung out with people and seemed interested in guys but was broken hearted by rejection from another guy in particular.

Eventually she decided to come out as a lesbian.

I don't think the rejection from the other guy was the first time she had been hurt on her journey to a change in her sexual orientation.

I've learned over the decades that my lesbian friends and acquaintances have stories of being hurt including sexual harm done to them.

Child abuse is also a part of their experience including sexual abuse.

In Miami in the 1970's attorney Janet Reno worked tirelessly to speed up and perfect the prosecution of child abusers when she worked for a local prosecutor.

What drove her zeal?

Harm done to her?

It's been said that Janet Reno expressed regret for her zealous belief that the Branch Davidians were engaging in child abuse.

The pattern of Attorney General Janet Reno and children for me seems to be a matter of bookends from the child abuse obsession at Waco in 1993 early in her tenure to Elian Gonzalez being confiscated for return to Communist Cuba towards the end of her tenure.

I guess the Devil in me wants to go to her grave and relieve myself.

The Evil One seems to inspire me to take the dog there to "do the business".

But in the end I can only say sexual extremes of the kind I associate with Janet Reno and her partners like former HHS Secretary and Congresswoman Donna Shalala are a part of my own experience.

I was wounded and hurt like I sincerely believe Janet Reno was in her life only by listening to the Higher Power only by doing good to others can there be a way forward that works in my experience.

In this world people choose to be angry with others to judge others to assume the role of G-d?

Even as the leftist and anti-religious zealots assume this role so sometimes more times than not very religious people can do the same thing that is my experience.

My heart mourns the great loss of human life associated with Waco and wants healing for those who lost their loved ones in that awful moment.

That Golden Rule has got to rule before more harm is done in this world by those who see real or imagined hurt and pain in their lives.

My heart breaks to realize major defense and foreign policy making decisions here in the USA are being made by people carrying the wounds and hurts inflicted in places like Russia and Ukraine and nearby nations once ruled by Russian Tsars, the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.
