There's reaction from many quarters to the announcement about Fox News Tucker Carlson but my reaction comes in the context of international events.
There was a time before World War II when Franklin Roosevelt waged war on his media opponents including those who were "Isolationists" and didn't want the US in another war in Europe.
Roosevelt waged a successful campaign to separate commentator Boake Carter from his slot on CBS Radio it was said three federal agencies were investigating him at the time he lost his radio news commentary show.
I've always considered World War II a necessary war but is the Ukraine War necessary untold blood being shed the use of Ukrainians to topple Russia to trigger regime change in Russia as a prelude to confronting China in the fight for Taiwan and its computer chips.
Heck folks that's what's really happening as I see it.
And Tucker Carlson was a highly visible personality opposing and questioning the Ukraine War.
There are powerful forces behind the Ukraine War regardless of the drama over the Dominion Voting Systems civil suit although it was no doubt a powerful vehicle leading to today's announcement.
The Fox News plan Murdoch and Ailes wanted in the end a Pro-Capitalist Pro-Moderate Republican news operation back when it all started. They had bumps in the road including the controversy and departure of Roger Ailes who made the "Fox News Channel: Fair and Balanced" into a "Fox Chick Channel: Breast and Leg".
Glenn Beck had to be moved on from Fox News now its Tucker Carlson's turn.
More changes coming? We shall see.

Haley a powerful GOP Moderate Neocon Warmonger.
She has been a cheerleader for wars including the one in Syria where she raged against ruler Bashar al-Assad as UN Ambassador on the side of Assad's Osama bin Laden following jihadist opponents.
In his own foolish way Lemon attacked a Globalist Insider being groomed for Vice President and eventually President of the United States the last straw in his CNN tenure.
Don't pick Haley for VP President Trump.

And we want to talk about how repressive Russia and or China are. Really.
A modern day repeat of the Pre-World War II closing of media ranks appears to be underway the Tucker Carlson firing a reflection of the conflict already underway in Ukraine a conflict gradually escalating into something even more violent and dangerous.
And Carlson isn't the only target Marjorie Taylor Greene and others all have targets painted on their backs for not marching in lockstep with the Ruling Elites.
