Why do the Republicans and Democrats turn up the heat on social issues?
So they can deflect from economic issues that potentially could hurt both of them.
When the economy is bad all incumbent politicians regardless of label are threatened.
The Democrats perceive traction on abortion right now they are rabid the Republicans have quickly countered with transgenderism in youth sports and public education.
The cultural conflict distracts from the hardening of the economic situation.
Did I forget the Ukraine War and the Provoking of China...
Every issue from Donald Trump to Hunter Biden to name the issue a distraction from the economic train running off the cliff the debt ceiling issue looms large Kevin McCarthy and Joe Biden will have to "cut a deal" sooner or later.
The US dollar is under pressure its value eroding the greenback 10 percent less valuable against the Euro or the British Pound than it was several months ago.
