I've noticed that politicians love police union endorsements nowadays and it reminds us of how powerful the cops can be when they decide to organize.
Decades ago here in York County, Pennsylvania the city police chief ran for Sheriff against the Republican Party backed guy who was the incumbent.
The GOP Chairman and his cronies lost that primary contest because the cops current ones, retired ones etc. etc. got into that election. They put up the signs, changed their voter registration for the primary etc. etc.
In liberal, progressive San Francisco they were on the ball helping to recall District Attorney Chesea Boudin last Tuesday and they envision doing the same to Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon.

Trump backed out of supporting Congressman Mo Brooks of the Ted Cruz Camp because Brooks actually said it's time to 'move on' from the notion of a stolen election in 2020.
Britt still rhymes with .... in my book but I guess President Trump figures for better or worse that Mo Brooks .... stinks more than she does.
I would not vote for Britt under any circumstances we need more than politics right now the bad stuff needs to be stopped in its tracks with strong, resolute and frisky action.
I'm know Britt won't and I admit Brooks isn't likely to do the same either so Trump has made his call.

Ms. Rodriguez confirmed that she had said the vanished words to a New York Times reporter. She also said the killer had asked colleagues, in her hearing, where he could buy marijuana. I am still trying to get The New York Times to explain why it felt that, of all the news it had in its possession that day, the shooter's liking for marijuana was the bit they did not think was fit to print."

Yes, friends that means in this country there should be freedom to protest in front of government officials homes as has been done in Idaho in regards to COVID mask orders and the kidnapping of Baby Cyrus Anderson.
And the folks who want abortion legal can protest in front of Supreme Court justices homes, too.
It's wrong to harm people and property, I think we all agree on that.
But do not allow any politicians particularly the one's that call themselves "Conservative" to vote for laws that abridge the Constitutional First Amendment right of people to protest in front of government officials homes.
