A drone attack targeting the US Consulate in Erbil, Iraq tonight.
No immediate reports of injuries or major damage at the consulate in Iraq's Kurdish region.
But journalists working for the French AFP news agency are said to have been hurt.
Kurdish authorities report three injuries.
Several cars also reported damaged in the area which is also near the United Arab Emirates consulate.
Iranian backed forces are believed repsonsible for attacks aimed at US interests in the region...

Early this morning an armed man arrested near the Maryland home of US Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Police say the man told them he was there to kill Kavanaugh...NBC NEWS...The man made a 911 call saying he had homicidal and suicidal intentions.
He is said to have made comments about the recent High Court leak and the mass murder attack at a school in Uvalde, Texas...BBC NEWS
The arrest comes amid heightened tension over a leaked draft Supreme Court decision regarding abortion law.
The leaked documents point to the overturning of the 1973 Roe vs. Wade decision and a return of abortion law making to the states.
The 5-4 draft opinion includes Justice Kavanaugh in the majority.
