In Canada Ottawa Police are mum after two Sikh men were arrested in connection with a memorial protest on Parliament Hill last Saturday.
The police told one of the arrested men about a threat of terrorism with a very detailed tip they were given.
Police apologized as they released the men acknowledging the terrorism threat tip they received was a hoax.
Police also moved the memorial away from its original location due to the terrorism threat hoax said to have originated with the Canada Border Services Agency.
The memorial is a commemoration of the murder of Sikhs in India in 1984...CBC NEWS
The vaccine mandate for Canadians traveling by bus, plane and train is changing effective next Monday proof of the jabs will not be required.
The vax mandate for international travelers leaving Canada is also being lifted. But visitors to Canada will have to provide proof of vaccination.
The modification is conditional with the mandate returning if health authorities determine any new threat exists because of COVID.
