Emmanuel Macron's coalition may not get it's majority in tomorrow's final round vote for seats in the National Assembly but it will have a willing partner in the ranks of the "Les Republicans" faction the "Traditional Right" in France comparable to the Republican Party in the United States.

A common expression used in the media this week was that Macron may achieve a "relative majority" in the 577 seat National Assembly.   This would be the scenario in which "Les Republicans" would give cover to help Macron govern France.

The leader of the NUPES (New Ecologic and Social People's Union) Jean-Luc Melenchon casting suspicion about late vote totals from last Sunday night showing a 21,000 vote lead for the "Together" coalition of President Macron in the first round.

Melenchon saying that the vote totals need to come from an independent election body instead of the Minister of the Interior controlled by Macron's government.

Melenchon also suggesting that Emmanuel Macron may "Go Trump" to govern the country without the majority he seeks in the final round voting tomorrow.    As it stands a French president is already more powerful than an American one and has abilities to take actions to impede objectionable legislation or to dismiss the National Assembly at a time of his choosing for new elections.

This week new "sexual violence" allegations emerged against Minister of Solidarity Damien Abad.  The former leader of Les Republicans in the National Assembly moved over to join Emmanuel Macron's "Centrist" government just last month taking a cabinet post.

Abad accused of rape last month by two women with Abad contending all of his sexual relationships were based on the concept of mutual consent.

On Thursday President Emmanuel Macron traveled to Ukraine where was joined by three other leaders from Germany, Italy and Romania in a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

When German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi entered Macron's cabin on their train into Ukraine they noted the posh cabin he was using...

The voters now have the final say on France's National Assembly and in just hours we will know those results and the shape of the majority President Emmanuel Macron will have there.    Will it be a majority outright for President Macron's "Together" party or will he get a 'relative' majority that can tap into Les Republicans to win its votes in the National Assembly?

That's the story of France and the Yellow Vests for this week.
