There will be many court cases challenging vaccine mandates related to Joe Biden's vaccine speech last Thursday. They will delay the implementation of those orders for many months.
Perhaps Biden was trying to give private employers some backing to force vaccination of their employees.
One major private employer reacted internally last Friday.
Walmart saying it is trying to:

the Biden Administration mandates and how they affect Walmart.
But Walmart did again reiterate in its internal communication that verification of vaccination status of all employees was needed by this Wednesday September 15th. The company had previously sought vaccination status confirmation with a September 3rd deadline.
