UNLIKE AUSTRALIA THERE ARE NO ANTI-TERRORISM POLICE TO SHUT DOWN PEACEFUL PROTESTS AGAINST VACCINE COERCION IN FRANCE.
BUT ACTIONS AGAINST THE PROTESTS ARE MORE SUBTLE LIKE MEDIA STORIES ABOUT NAZISM, ANTI-SEMITISM AND CONSPIRACY THEORIES.
NOW THE MAYOR OF NICE FROM THE MAINSTREAM "RIGHT" LES REPUBLICANS, CHRISTIAN ESTROSI, HAS ASKED THE REGIONAL PREFECT OF POLICE TO STOP PROTESTORS FROM MARCHING IN THE STREETS.
ESTROSI'S BID TO KEEP PROTESTS AT ONE LOCATION DESCRIBED AS A BID TO PREVENT HARM TO THE ECONOMY.

As of mid-afternoon a typical mainstream media account of today's protest spoke of several thousand protesting in Paris.
One protester in Paris Annick Gauthier quoted as saying:
"I demonstrate every weekend because our freedom has been robbed"
The official government estimate of protesters tonight 63,700 across France. 7,200 in Paris the total number of locations 197.
BACK TO NICE WHERE MAYOR CHRISTIAN ESTROSI IS SEEKING TO BAN PROTEST MARCHES IN HIS CITY. HE WANTS THE PROTEST TO BE IN ONE PLACE.
THERE WAS A VERY CONVENIENT 'INCIDENT' TODAY IN NICE WITH A SMALL GROUP SAID TO HAVE BROKEN AWAY FROM THE MAIN PROTEST THEN HEADING TOWARDS THE MAYOR'S HOME.

MAYOR ESTROSI DENOUNCING THE ATTEMPT TO APPROACH "MY FAMILY HOME" SAYING IT WAS 'UNSPEAKABLE'. ON TWITTER.
ESTROSI BACKED UP IN HIS DENUNCIATION BY THE INTERIOR MINISTER GERALD DARMANIN.
DARMANIN CLAIMING AN 'UNACCPTABLE ATTEMPT AT INTIMIDATION'.
