REBEL NEWS CANADA ELECTION SPECIAL....REBEL NEWS ELECTION LIVE

                                                           (11 AM EASTERN TIME)

The Liberal Party looks to be the winner if the polling is accurate but the results will be known sooner or later and its likely to be later Canada appears to be having an election like the US Presidential contest last year.

Mail-in ballots in the mix and according to CBC News as I heard it on CBC Radio Elections Canada sees a million plus ballots mailed in to be counted tomorrow.

In the last election of 2019 the Conservatives led the Liberals in popular vote but trailed in seats and if the Tories are down by a few points in popular vote which the polling seems to indicate (aside from some polls that may have been put out by pro-Conservative pollsters) the Liberals will get the most seats.

For the moment one can project a Liberal Party win a minority government or in the name of enacting unpopular taxes and other COVID-COVID spending related policies perhaps a coalition majority government with the NDP.    It would probably hurt both parties in a future election but we shall see.

Trudeau not exactly racking up a big popular vote 33 percent might be a guess as to the Liberal Party's final total there.

But the Liberals get the seats in Ontario and parts of Quebec and Atlantic Canada what they need to win elections.

The Conservative popular vote piles up in the West where fewer seats are contested.

Can the Peoples Party of Canada break through in any seats a tall order it appears?  Some polling shows a 10 percent popular vote nationally but a few more points at least are needed in popular support for any seat winning breakthroughs to be possible,

Maybe Maxime Bernier can win in his own riding of Beauce in southeastern Quebec but splitter conservative candidates are protecting the Conservative Party's ability to win seats in Alberta and Saskatchewan.    The perfect set-up you might say to protect a Conservative Party that's often perceived as not being Conservative.

The COVID lockdowns have outraged many but even in Alberta a united Wildrose Party in the past could only get about 25 percent of the popular vote allowing Rachel Notley of the NDP to serve as Premier for a term.

Now the infamous United Conservative Party of former Reform Party MP Jason Kenney has brought back the old "Moderate" Progressive Conservative rule to the province.    In the last 18 months it has showed with a vengeance in the fencing-locking of churches and businesses, arrests of pastors, charges against business owners and now the vaccine passports that aren't called vaccine passports.

Listening to CBC Radio on the way home from my social commitment this evening  and lots of "woke" in the discussion climate change and the deadly wildfires in Canada's West.   The notion presented it will get worse.    Also talking "reconciliation" with "indigenous peoples" that discussion related to the graves at church run residential schools that became an explosive issue.

Fires set at churches earlier this year numerous arson attacks in the aftermath of the emotional discussion surrounding those grave sites.

The feeling expressed that the politicians in Canada ignored those kind of issues pushed them into the background.

Justin Trudeau in Montreal tonight the room at the Fairmont Hotel has a COVID capacity limit.   Its the room where Trudeau is expected to make his speech tonight.

The early votes in Atlantic Canada with seven ridings (seats) in Newfoundland and Labrador and the other 25 in Prince Edward Island (4), Nova Scotia (11) and New Brunswick (10).

CTV says Liberals lead in six, Conservatives in three.    Atlantic Canada the Liberals usually dominate and the Conservatives get their smaller share.    The NDP contends here might get one seat, the Greens won a seat in this region in 2019 as well likely to lose it tonight.

338 seats up for grabs in the House of Commons tonight.

The Conservative Party gaining a few seats tonight in Atlantic Canada is what the results appear to show so far.

At 1010 pm I saw video of Maxime Bernier tonight with supporters on CTV and the video broke up as it was being streamed.

And unlike the masked Conservative Party leader Erin O' Toole  Mr. Bernier and his supporters unmasked with some exceptions.

Today on Twitter Bernier reaching 158,200 followers topping Erin O' Toole of the Conservatives in Twitter followers.   He's now at 159,000.

CTV DECLARES AT 1021 PM LIBERAL PARTY WINS THE SIZE OF THEIR VICTORY NOT KNOWN YET.....

The Liberals taking the Edmonton Centre riding in Alberta away from the Conservatives and votes shifted away from the Conservatives to the Peoples Party of Canada in that result.

Comment on CTV is that the collapse of the Greens in this election benefits the Liberals.

                                                  (1035 PM EASTERN TIME)

Popular Vote Liberal 38.1 percent, Conservative 32.6 percent, NDP 16.2 percent, Bloc Quebecois 5.1 percent, Peoples Party of Canada 4.7 percent, Green 2.5 percent, Other .7 percent.

Updating seats tonight 150 Liberals, 119 Conservatives, 28 Bloc Quebecois, NDP 27, Green 3.

Ezra Levant on the Rebel News feed noting that the polling showing the Peoples Party of Canada in the 9 or 10 percent range may have been cooked up to scare voters away from Conservatives by the Liberals.

We shall wait for the final count to see how well the PPC did tonight Maxime Bernier's expectations six or seven percent of the popular vote.

Popular Vote at 1055 pm Eastern Time 35.1 percent Liberals, 33.4 percent Conservatives, 16.4 percent NDP, 7.1 percent Bloc Quebecois, Peoples Party of Canada 4.9 percent, Green 2.3 percent Other. 9 percent.

Maxime Bernier tonight speaking about too much government spending, too much government power and the wish of Canadians not to see a "Chinese model" in their country.

Bernier addressing his supporters in Saskatoon at 11 pm tonight.

He says the Peoples Party of Canada is the only true opposition party.

Bernier noted that a proportional system would have given the PPC some 20 seats tonight but seats or no seats the PPC will be the voice of opposition wherever needed including the streets.

Seats tonight right now at 1106 pm 155 Liberals, 121 Conservative, 29 Bloc Quebecois, 29 NDP, Green 2.

So yes the NDP appears to be gaining seats as I expected.    They got 24 two years ago.

The popular vote   Conservatives 33.7 percent, Liberals 33.6 percent, NDP 16.5 percent, Bloc Quebecois 8.0 percent, Peoples Party of Canada 5.0 percent, Green 2.2 percent, Others 1.0 percent.

The final numbers not really in yet there will be mail in votes counted tomorrow stay tuned but Trudeau is the winner with a minority government short of the 170 seat majority.

With the economic situation likely to decline perhaps he will reach out to form a stable government acceptable to the Establishment under the circumstances.

Will come up with a final summation towards Midnight Eastern Time.

CBC NEWS PROJECTS A LIBERAL MINORITY WIN IN THE ELECTION, THEY FALL SHORT OF THE 170 VOTE MAJORITY.

                                                   (12 MIDNIGHT EASTERN TIME)

The vote count now is around 2/3 of the total again there will be mail-in votes added tomorrow.

Lets put some numbers up in the final post here.

Two years ago the Liberals won 157 seats with the Conservatives behind in seats and ahead in popular vote,

We  have the same result tonight.

Liberals leading-elected 157, Conservatives 122, Bloc Quebecois 29, NDP 28, Green 2.

Popular vote Conservatives 34.2 percent, Liberals 31.9 percent, NDP 17.3 percent, Bloc Quebecois 8.2 percent, Peoples Party of Canada 5.3 percent. Green Party 2.2 percent, Other 1.0 percent.

                                              (12 NOON TUESDAY EASTERN)

99 percent of the votes said to be counted now Liberals won 148 leading in 10, the Conservatives won in 117, leading in 2,  the Bloc Quebecois won 32, leading in 2, the NDP won 24, leading in 1 and the Greens have won two.

The results almost identical to two years ago, the last election.

The Peoples Party of Canada won no seats but got 5.1 percent of the popular vote or 814,547 votes.    It only got 1.62 percent of the popular vote two years ago.

15 seats remain undecided.

                      CBC NEWS ELECTION RESULTS

IN CONCLUSION FINAL SUMMATION....

Erin O'Toole determined to stay in leadership of the Opposition today and as Conservative Party leader, Jagmeet Singh leader of the New Democratic Party ready to bargain with Trudeau to give him a majority vote on legislation, the Bloc Quebecois Yves Francois Blanchet spoke of the election resulting in no change.

The Green Party hung on winning two seats but losing most of the popular vote it had two years ago.

The cost of the election 610 million dollars (476,013,500 US  dollars).

And yes a new opposition force the Peoples Party of Canada no seats but the sentiments of economic conservatives and opponents of coerced vaccination many not so conservative in Canada found a place to be expressed.

Maxime Bernier, an articulate spokesman for those sentiments, lost his home riding in Quebec as he did in 2019 perhaps he may want to run next in the West where his party was the second place finisher in some Alberta ridings.

Bernier sees the PPC as "the only real opposition" in Canada right now.

Many challenges for Justin Trudeau both foreign and domestic the spending out of control the need to finance massive debt taxes loom large on the horizon.

There is also the matter of China with the sister English speaking nations of Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States formalizing an alliance last week against China as Trudeau focused on the election.

The Conservatives trashed him for not joining at the start but I think the momentum is inevitable and it would seem logical in the end for Canada to do what it ultimately does subordinate itself to the USA in the alliance opposing China.

On Trudeau's watch the subordination showed in the arrest for extradition to the US of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou.

But his three positions on oil pipelines in Canada really illustrate who calls the shots in the "Great White North".

Trudeau assumed office in 2015 opposing oil pipelines in Canada during Barack Obama's presidency.

When Donald Trump became President Trudeau flipped to support oil pipelines.

And when Joe Biden entered the Oval Office that's right Trudeau back to opposing pipelines.

That's  the story of Canada's 2021 Election.
