CRACKDOWN UNDERWAY MASS ARRESTS IN MELBOURNE DETAILS LATER IN POST...

THE AUGUST 31ST ARREST OF REIGNITE DEMOCRACY FOUNDER MONICA SMIT HOURS AFTER SILENT PROTESTS OPPOSING LOCKDOWNS AND FORCED VACCINATION

Its now Wednesday morning in Melbourne Australia with the Victoria Supreme Court's 10 am hearing (8 pm Tuesday Eastern US time)...HEARING VIDEO..

This hearing is the appeal of Monica Smit, founder of Reignite Democracy Australia, arrested in Melbourne hours after dozens of silent protests occurred on August 31st in opposition to lockdowns and forced vaccination.

She was accused of "incitement" and is being held under bail conditions that would require her to give up her activities opposing lockdowns and forced vaccination.

Smit staying in prison because of those bail conditions often in solitary confinement because she is refusing COVID-19 testing.

But there's more happening in Melbourne than that it all started last Friday with construction workers setting up their "tea room" for work breaks on the street in Melbourne.

That's because the government of Victoria state had ordered the "tea rooms" shut down because of the coronavirus.

There was the other Saturday protest in Melbourne but on Monday the "tradies" as construction workers are called in Australia back on the street confronting union leadership in lockstep with Premier Daniel Andrews on forced vaccination for workers in the construction industry in Victoria.

And yesterday others joined the construction workers with a crowd said to number some two thousand according to mainstream media reporting.

The protest in the streets in front of the state parliament building and eventually onto the major streets and the M1 freeway as well as the Westgate Bridge.

Hume Highway mentioned along with some other geographic location 7 11 Greenacre that is the 7-11 Store at 301-305 Hume Highway in Greenacre, NSW I have figured it out with Google.

Back to Melbourne Avi Yemeni of Rebel News now up live on Facebook....

        AVI YEMENI LIVE REBEL NEWS

Avi watching and showing a police armored vehicle and shots being fired by police moving in to split up the protest groups and prevent them from gathering in large numbers.

Avi reminding viewers that there was no violence from protesters today just police.

A police beating of an individual on the sidewalk.

"Insane scenes"

of police tear gas rubber bullets Avi coughing as he reports.

There's someone on the ground hit by a rubber bullet being arrested.

People have been hiding in the shadows in nooks and crannies.

Avi Yemeni's video was excerpted by a poster on Gab showing the protester hit by a rubber bullet down on the ground being arrested and bleeding....

Avi Yemeni continuing to report from Melbourne where arrested people are everywhere on the ground and now police are confronting him.

He is now in a situation with the police.

Avi moving on,

But now there is a protest group moving in the streets  of Melbourne and the police are beginning to gather in front of the protest group.....

                          FACEBOOK LIVE VIDEO

We have a group in the hundreds on live video on the streets a bit distant from the skyscrapers in Melbourne.     The protesters continue to move rapidly to elude police.

The Victoria Police in the special unit for public order mobile today riding on the side of their armored vehicle like the cops I saw in Portland last year.

They are back in the downtown area tied down or tired or trying to "mop up" people they attacked earlier as they split a big group of over a thousand people.

The Police chopper overhead as the moving protest is at Lincoln Square South....

They are really in and around the center of Melbourne its called South Melbourne Queensbury Street the Queen Victoria Market area of the city.

Hundreds at least moving on the streets.

They are pledging out loud as they move that the protests will not end:

"Every Day"

they are saying.

One woman with a T-Shirt that says on the back:

"You Cannot Comply Your Way Out Of Tyranny"

A growing crowd in this part of Melbourne where the protest is moving freely the police haven't shown up here yet.

Moving on Swanston Street according to the live stream narration.

The procession has moved down Swanston Street to Flinders Street.   At Flinders Street Station.

Waiting for a police attack I would think at this point.

The demonstration crossing the Yarra River.    They passed two parked police cars apparently empty.

In the area of the Arts Centre and on the other side Alexandra Gardens Queen Victoria Gardens.

This demonstration keeps passing police vehicles the kind you put prisoners in eerie surreal.

They seem to be moving in the direction of the Shrine of Remembrance.    The narrator now indicates that.

Police are out there as the crowd of protesters move forward.    Its sirens in the background watch out people.

The special police unit is moving in for the attack apparently.

Shots fired by the police, the police on the attack.

The crowd moving forward the Shrine of Remembrance in sight.

I guess we're getting a real nice walking tour of Melbourne today on the live video linked above.

They are closing in on the Shrine which remembers those who have died in Australia's military missions and wars.

                  "Walk With Us"

the protesters call out to four police officers standing nearby.

The officers move back and the protesters now at the Shrine of Remembrance and sitting down on its steps exhausted from their long march today.

The media heck they will try to call this moment sacrilege no doubt.

I am reminded of Yellow Vests at the Arc de Triomphe several years ago,

An important moment to show respect hopefully no anarchists black blocs provocateurs in this situation.

Here comes the riot truck and some other police vehicles closing in on the demonstrators.

The National Anthem of Australia now being sung by the protesters.

ABC News Channel is reporting a large group of protesters at the Shrine of Remembrance with no video of it on the screen.   Working on spreading talking head propaganda about "extremists" infiltrating workers groups like the highly respected construction workers in Australia.

50 to 100 riots cops in the area of the Shrine of Remembrance.

More riot cops about to move in.

Another live stream from the protest site.

                          FACEBOOK VIDEO LIVE

A speaker addressing the police and asking if they intend to engage in violence at the Shrine.

A standoff but police concentrating near the crowd which is mainly on the embankment and steps of the Shrine of Remembrance.

You can see police at various locations around the shrine right now some regular uniform and plainclothes and thin in their ranks as well as the riot force heavy and thick in their formation.

The riot police having time to marshal their forces around the Shrine right now as protesters continue to call for Dan Andrews Victoria Premier to be sacked and they continue to call for:

"Freedom"

and sing the National Anthem from time to time.

We got some folks saying:

"*uck the jab"

Now a sign:

"End Lockdown NOW!    Dan-made Disaster!!!"

And the shouting with;

"Aussie Aussie Ooi  Ooi!"

Avi Yemeni made it up to the Shrine of Remembrance as well from Rebel News.

The Real Rukshan noting that the people the working people just don't want to be forced into vaccination and at this spot honoring those who die for freedom freedom is being crushed by the Victoria Police.

Avi used the subway to catch up with the group of demonstrators as they made their way towards the Shrine of Remembrance.

Now kneeling from the police and kneeling from the protesters but where this leads I don't know.

The police line moving up towards the front of the Shrine.

Its now about 215 pm in the afternoon.

Another round of the Australian National Anthem.

It looks like there are multiple lines of police now out in front of the Shrine they are forming up thick.

"We Want Peace"

the shout from the crowd.

(1255 AM WEDNESDAY US TIME, 255 PM MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA TIME WEDNESDAY)

The standoff continues and I will seek rest but the live feeds are still up for now.

The police moving in closer and closer trying to corner the protesters perhaps provoke some response.

"Conspiracy theorists, Anti-vaxxers and the far-right"

ABC NEWS IN AUSTRALIA HEADLINE ALSO SAYING:

"Its almost like grooming"

A moment of silence called for those who have committed suicide during the coronavirus situation.

The police line tighter than ever right now.

that is the ABC News message about the protesters in Australia.

"We are not criminals, we are standing up for our rights"

The message from one of those protesting.

If the police choose violence using their weapons at the Shrine they will desecrate the site possibly damage it with their weapons the mainstream media is not live at this protest from what I see.

I see an umbrella in one of the livestream videos and yeah that can repel the pepper spray.

One man at the shrine notes the use of the Anti-Terrorism Squad on the protesters today an elite force designed to combat terrorists.     He said the police tactics today forced the protest to move to the shrine.

"We are here to take back the freedoms that were earned for us by the people that we built this shrine for"....FULL VIDEO EMBEDDED GAB SOCIAL MEDIA

One live stream is down and Avi Yemeni of Rebel News moving out of the area willingly or unwilling we don't know....

The Second "The Real Rukshan" Live Video still up on Facebook...

Outside the police line to the north on St. Kilda Road talk of police making arrests what's going on outside those police lines right now are others coming to the aid of those surrounded at the Shrine of Remembrance.

ABC NEWS REPORTING THAT THE POLICE HAVE OBTAINED A NO-FLY ZONE OVER THE CENTER OF MELBOURNE AND VICINITY PREVENTING ANY AERIAL NEWS COVERAGE OF THE PROTESTS TODAY....ABC NEWS AUSTRALIA..THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA REPORTING OFFICIAL CONDEMNATION OF THE PROTEST AT THE SHRINE OF REMEMBRANCE.

Talking going on between police and some protest leaders who have bullhorns....

THE OFFER MADE BY THE POLICE TO ALLOW DISPERSAL OF THE PROTEST ACCORDING TO A MAN SPEAKING ON A BULLHORN.

THE PROTESTERS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE VIA ST. KILDA ROAD TO THE NORTH.

Small groups leaving just after 4 pm local tine , 2 am Eastern US time Wednesday.

Others not so willing to leave and or trust police at this point.

Police wanting people to leave in small groups not acceptable to many people there.

People collecting trash at the site as many people seem ready to go.

Mounted police and riot police in tight formation as many are still there not moving.

A lot have left we are told half the crowd.

The police tightening the ring with fewer protesters around.

They are at the steps on the sides right now at the Shrine.

Passive protesters apparently choosing to be arrested at that spot.

There are certainly a few hundred there at least.

Some 200 arrests were made in the end...VIDEO
