NEXTRUSH UNPLUGGED:  SATURDAY NIGHT VERSION HARD TRUTH ABOUT SYRIA AND 'THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARAPEIA'

(BATTLE OF BREXIT NEWS ABOUT TODAY'S DEVELOPMENTS IN LONDON ARE PART OF A SPECIAL POST SEPARATE FROM THIS ONE-LINK)

Music Links:

Pop music from the 1970's and I certainly listened to popular music but on the fringes like crossover songs on country radio, shortwave radio which I listened to a lot back then.    Country music my go to music back then but in later years I discovered the other music sounds from back then.

Where does one start this weekend with the Brexit "deal" being arm twisted through Parliament in London this Saturday in a special session.

Canada going to the polls Monday and if the polls are correct a political deadlock on the way perhaps a minority government.

The mess in Syria that Donald Trump is helping to clean up by his decision making in recent days a scheme by inside the beltway political elites, the European elites, the financial power of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Arabs.

The jihadists Al Qaeda movement Bin Laden admirers and followers unleashed on Syria and in the cauldron of the civil war migrants unleashed on Europe and some 3 million still bottled up in Turkey by the way.   Then the jihadists morph into ISIS, the Islamic State.

Murder, rape, torture unleashed on Syria bleeding over into Iraq and of course into Europe with the migrants.

The "DEEP STATE" of the government, business and media elites want you to cry for the Kurds but they never cried much less took the responsibility for what they did to lead us to Donald Trump's action to clean up the situation.

A lot of propaganda being ginned up about another alleged "chemical attack" by Syria with the final "report" on what happened in Idlib in the coming months.

Donald Trump would be facing pressure once the "report" comes out down the road for more military action against Syria so perhaps its time to unify the country and let Assad have it back.

The rage against Iran and I accept Iran is not a nice player justifies the mass murder and rape that was unleashed on Syria and beyond in recent years.

People in high places seem to think so and Donald Trump is our only hope it seems against them.

But lets remember that Republicans like Senator Rand Paul and Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky have some sense and Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard is outspoken about the "regime change wars" in the Middle East as she was in the Democrat debate shindig....TULSI GABBARD DEMOCRAT DEBATE

How much Saudi Arapeian and Gulf Arab Al-Qaeda Land cash is in Hillary's orbit through the "Clinton Foundation"?    And Mitch McConnell is certainly worthy of consideration in this vein as well as others in the ranks of Uniparty leadership in this country who oppose keeping American soldiers out of these endless "regime change" wars like the one in Syria.

But the crimes of "The Kingdom" and I mean "The Kingdom of Saudi Arapeia" extend beyond Syria and Europe.

Saudi citizens rape here in the USA and are spirited out of the country before they can face any justice for their crimes.

And Washington is so mum about it that it takes another anti-Trump Democrat to make some noise about it for his constituents back home in Oregon.

Ron Wyden of Oregon in on things with a speech on the Senate floor and says things like this:

"This is about manslaughter, rape and more.   This is about real people, real families, who have suffered immeasurable pain"

And all Wyden wanted and got a unanimous consent vote of approval on was disclosure of information in this legislation, not action to shut down the evasion of US justice by the $audis.

The protests raging around the world as people fight for some sort of freedom.   Catalans wanting independence from Spain reacting to the prison sentences of their leaders this week.    The continuing Hong Kong protests for democracy.....

In Lebanon the protests against corruption and higher taxes in recent days which have been under the radar of everything else.   Hezbollah a big player in Lebanon offering their opinion on the situation.

HEZBOLLAH-LEBANON PROTESTS

In a late development the Finance Minister of Lebanon saying no new taxes in a new budget for the county.

More trouble in Latin America this weekend.    Last weekend it was Ecuador now a state of emergency in Santiago, Chile.    The black hooded protesters attacking subway stations over higher fares and then setting fires including a high rise building the headquarters of an Italian energy company in Chile.

A state of emergency declared late Friday night and the military placed in charge of the city.

A Cuban and Venezuelan Communist counterattack on the sanctions regime of Washington to deal with them?

Well you have to be cynical with what happened in places like Libya, Syria and Ukraine.  Deliberate stirring up of trouble to change regimes with street protests.    Egypt also a manipulated situation.

But is violence the answer?

There are crazy people out there under the influence of the intoxicating agents from drugs to alcohol to porn and the list goes on and the government agents-informants-infiltrators to discredit protests.

There's a sense of no democratic choices in the world.    The people voted Brexit but they get fake "deals" from their political leaders.

The Uniparty in this country still wants to change things in Syria desperately as Donald Trump seems to take the rug out from under them with his recent decision regarding the Kurdish northeast of Syria.

I voted Trump because there is no difference between the two big parties and the business backed political machine gets their way in the end with the Mitt Romney's and Hillary Clinton's as prime examples with Joe Biden the latest example.

The noise about the "Right" and the "Left" and the other side being "extreme" hides the fact that politics is ultimately controlled by Big Business and Big Banks.

And they can't have things like Brexit?

Borders must be torn down to create superstates that are economically more powerful but also repressive and controlling and bureaucratic.

Super transnational governments that regulate so big business can thrive at the expense of small business and the individual.

It was Peter Hitchens who said "you can check out but never leave" when it comes to the European Union repeating the lyrics of "Hotel California".

And yes the Remainers pulling strings inside Parliament with the Letwin Amendment and outside with their protest rally.

Johnson's deal is 95 percent as bad as Theresa May's one was and those who flat out want a 100 percent clean break from the EU not represented in Parliament at all.

BREAKING NEWS-SYRIAN SITUATION

CHILE-SANTIAGO PROTESTS-BREAKING NEWS-PROTESTS SPREAD OUTSIDE THE CAPITAL CITY

As the protests continued in Chile's capital today the tear gas and water cannon in use there as police and soldiers faced protesters.       There were some incidents of pot banging in other cities as well.

But the latest is that President Sebastian Pinera is suspending the subway fare hike increases that led to the protests.   The BBC posting this story Saturday evening......LINK

BUT WE HAVE ADDITIONAL BREAKING NEWS FROM CHILE

VIA '24 HOURS VIDEO FEED ON THE LINK I POSTED EARLIER SEEING PROTESTS ALL THE WAY DOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF CHILE ALMOST AT THE TIP OF SOUTH AMERICA IN PUNTA ARENAS LATE IN THE DAY SATURDAY.   THIS PROTEST FEATURING STONE THROWING PEOPLE FIGHTING THE POLICE.

ALSO SEEING VIDEO COMING IN FROM VALPARAISO, CHILE'S SECOND LARGEST CITY OF PROTESTS WITH FIRES BEING LIT IN THE STREETS.

Nowadays we have the internet to see things online as they happen.    I can watch "24 Horas" in Chile today to see the coverage of the protests.    Back in the 1970's the technology different I read a lot of newspapers and we had an eight-column local newspaper with world and national stories 20 or more on the front page.

I listened to distant radio stations on AM from the USA and Canada, Mexico and Cuba sometimes further.

But shortwave radio took me to a lot of places with local news from South Africa, Australia and New Zealand coming in via shortwave.    I listened to Israel which always had English language broadcasts from the time radio started there in 1936 as British territory.

I listened to Kuwait a lot and heard radio from all over the world picking up news and information and music.

In Venezuela there was a radio station in San Cristobal on SW for distant listeners in the countryside as well as AM locally  "Ecos del Torbes".    I read through Wikipedia that the radio station had its origin way back in 1947.

I used to listen to the station at night quite a bit and there was also another I remember from Costa Rica in Central America that used SW alongside AM back in the 1970's.   "Radio Reloj" which constantly provided "reloj" to its listeners as in "time" announcing the time with the clock ticking in the background.

Here is an online memory of "Radio Reloj"  from the winter of 1980......

SHORTWAVE RADIO AUDIO ARCHIVE RADIO RELOJ COSTA RICA

Another country I got on the shortwave radio was Rhodesia with much less solid reception but the broadcasting system there had English and African services on shortwave and even at times the popular music station Radio Jacaranda.

Colin Weyer used a cassette recorder to make some recordings of the Rhodesia Broadcasting Corporation and he has a memories page about the RBC ........

LEBANON PROTESTS CONTINUE-ANOTHER LIBYA OR SYRIA IN THE MAKING?

As the brutal civil war in Syria moves towards God willing an end and some peace, one has to consider the strategy of those who helped to create it mentioned earlier in the post.

What is the plan to deal with Iran for instance?    Clearly its turning the economic screws to increase the suffering and by default the discontent of the people and leading the charge the USA.   Lebanon with the Iranian backed Hezbollah influencing the government is clearly a target for regime change.

Israel for instance can't launch a military operation because that would trigger the rocket barrage of all rocket barrages from Hezbollah's network of underground launching sites on Israel and it would be too costly in lives both military and civilian.

Why not bring down Iran and Lebanon economically?

The protesters on the streets now for three days in a row in the country.   Street protests are what ignited the messes in Libya and Syria one should remember.

"Al Jazeera" offers a picture of the situation with this story.......LINK

The Yellow Vests continue their protests in France and I created a video link oriented summary of what was going on today with that movement......FRANCE YELLOW VESTS WEEK 49

Earlier we presented Tulsi Gabbard in the context of the Democrat debate and her comments on the "regime change wars" but by gosh by golly Hillary Clinton has come out slinging the stuff on the wall about Tulsi to see if it will stick.

If you oppose all the war making like in Syria you are a tool of Russia by default.

Angela Merkel has observed that the hostility to Russia drives it into the arms of China and in the end the contest for world domination is with the "People's Republic".   I think unlike other issues Merkel gets that right.

Is it Saudi money or Chinese money that leads to that excrement coming out of Hillary Clinton's mouth?

You must ask that question in this day and age.

THE REAL NEWS SUMMARY

A 10 pm to 7 am curfew is in effect in Santiago, Chile tonight as protests continued in the city on Saturday that were sparked earlier in the week by a subway fare hike.

Demonstrators took to the streets across the whole of Chile Saturday from Valparaiso in the north to Punta Arenas near the southern tip of South America.

Rocks thrown at police, fires set, stores looted.   Police using tear gas as protesters erected barricades in the streets.

President Sebastian Pinera announced today that the subway fare hike is suspended.    Last night around midnight Pinera declared a state of emergency in the capital city and ordered the army to join police in patrolling the city.

The Lebanese Finance Minister announcing the government's new budget will not include tax hikes hoping to quell three straight days of protest about tax increases and corruption in the country.

All the forces behind Lebanon's government working on the situation including the Iranian backed Hezbollah movement and its leader Hassan Nasrallah who is urging the various political parties to work together accepting responsibility for the country's economic woes and working to correct them.

But one political party that represents part of Lebanon's Christian community decided to leave the government Saturday.  Iranian media describes the party as 'pro-US'.

In Spain the Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez rebuffing the call of Catalonia's President Quim Torra to start negotiations about autonomy for the region.

Six days of protest mostly peaceful but with militant elements confronting police at times has rocked Catalonia since nine Catalan leaders received a combined 100 years of prison time from Spain's Supreme Court for their role in a 2017 independence referendum.

Sunday is election day in Bolivia with left-wing President Evo Morales seeking a fourth term.  Many younger voters considering voting for his main opponent Carlos Mesa out of concern that Morales is looking at being president for life.

In Canada Liberal Party Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Leader of the Opposition Andrew Scheer of the Conservative Party making their last minute appeals to voters ahead of Monday's election.

It looks like a close contest if the polls are correct with the strong possibility that neither party will win a majority of the 338 seats in the House of Commons.

The median of three different polls taken Friday and today puts the Liberals at about 32.4 percent, the Conservatives at 31.2 percent.

Four other parties competing including the New Democratic Party at 18 percent, the Green Party at 8 percent and the Quebec separatist Bloc Quebecois at 7 percent with all its votes concentrated in Quebec where it could reach 30 percent of the popular vote.

Also the new People's Party of Canada with a populist immigration skeptical platform showing around 2.6 percent of the popular vote.

From Ukraine an red-paint splattered effigy of a Jewish tycoon causing concern.   The country's Chief Rabbi wants the authorities to quickly catch and punish those who put the effigy on the steps of the main synagogue in the capital city of Kiev.

The effigy depicted Igor Kolomoisky who is a supporter of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Zelensky is also Jewish by the way.
