President Trump minced no words in describing House Intelligence Committee Chairman Democrat Adam Schiff.

"shifty Schiff"......"lowlife"......"he should resign from office in disgrace"...."Frankly, they should look at him for treason"...

The President spoke at the White House alongside the visiting Finnish president.

Schiff is a leading force behind the "impeachment probe" of the President.

The "New York Times" reporting Wednesday evening that Schiff had advance knowledge that a whistle blower complaint was to be filed by someone in the intelligence community regarding President Trump's phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky where corruption allegations against former Vice President Joe Biden's son Hunter were discussed.

Former Dallas Police officer Amber Guyger received a ten year sentence in the murder of 26-year old Botham John Wednesday.   Guyger shot John in his apartment believing she was in her own apartment and that he was an intruder.

Some were disappointed at the sentence saying it was not enough in the racially charged case.

John's brother Brandt expressed his forgiveness towards Guyger at sentencing and asked to hug her.    The judge allowed it and for one minute he embraced her.     The video from this link at the BBC website....LINK

THE ISRAELI POLITICAL UPDATE.   TOMORROW PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU MEETING WITH AVIGDOR LIEBERMAN, LEADER OF THE YISRAEL BEITEINU (ISRAEL OUR HOME) PARTY HOPING TO WIN HIS SUPPORT FOR A NEW GOVERNMENT.

BUT LIEBERMAN DID NOT SUPPORT NETANYAHU IN THE END AFTER APRIL'S GENERAL ELECTION FORCING THE SECOND ELECTION IN ISRAEL THIS YEAR LAST MONTH.

LIEBERMAN WANTS THE BLUE AND WHITE PARTY OF BENNY GANTZ TO JOIN NETANYAHU'S LIKUD PARTY IN A UNITY GOVERNMENT AND HAS SAID IF THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN BY NEXT WEDNESDAY, HE WILL OFFER HIS OWN PROPOSAL.

The pre-indictment evidence hearing for Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began today in Jerusalem.

Its a process that will be spread out over four days in the next two weeks.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson laying down what is being called a "final offer" to the European Union in a speech to the Conservative Party conference today.

But it is also being called the basis for a "reasonable compromise" again underlining that widely held belief that Johnson is just rebooting a new version of former Prime Minister Theresa May's deal with the EU that was considered a sellout and "fake Brexit".

Some tough talk from Mr. Johnson in the speech but tough talk apparently designed to move the EU towards a "deal", not in the direction of a clean and clear break from the EU.

Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage tweeted today "It is clear Boris Johnson is going to reheat her dreadful deal".....LINK

A source in Baghdad say four were killed Tuesday as protesters filled the streets demonstrating against corruption and lack of services like electricity.   More than 700 injuries also reported.

Live ammunition was used along with tear gas by the Iraqi police.

The protests considered to be the most serious against the year old government of Prime Minister Adel  Abdul Mahdi.

The nationwide death toll in Iraq now reported to be seven with curfews imposed in Baghdad and three other cities.

The anniversary today of the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi Consultate in Istanbul, Turkey.   Khashoggi wrote opinion for "The Washington Post" and for the anniversary the "Post" offered opinions about the murder.....LINK

The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, says his country will continue to reduce its commitments under the JCPOA nuclear agreement of 2015 until its gets the desired results saying the US has failed with its sanctions against Iran.

Khamenei also said that the United States is responsible for creation of the Islamic State, also called "Daesh"  and that the people of the region destroyed it, not the US.   He said in part:

"They created Daesh at hefty costs and provided it with weapons as well as financial and media support, and now that Daesh has been destroyed thanks to the diligence of youths in Syria, Iraq and Iran, they tell lies (by claiming) that 'We destroyed Daesh'"
