"China should start an investigation into the Bidens"


President Trump urging other nations to investigate the activities of former Vice-President and 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter.



The President specifically naming China and Ukraine.




Kurt Volker, former US Envoy to Ukraine and Executive Director of the McCain Institute at Arizona State University, testified before the House Foreign Affairs Committee Thursday.


Volker was behind closed doors and after his testimony the Democrats and Republicans on the committee offered different interpretations of his testimony.





A knife attack at the Prefecture of Police in Paris.     Four are reported dead and the attacker is also reported to have been killed.   One other person wounded in critical condition.


The attack started inside the building at around 7 am Eastern US time, 1 pm in Paris with the attacker moving into the "Intelligence Directorate" of the building.   He eventually was shot in the courtyard.


The attacker was an IT specialist who worked at the police headquarters.   His knife described as having a long blade.


The attacker said to be a long-time employee with more than 16 years of service.   Also it is being said there were tensions between the employee and his supervisor.

Demonstrations in Iraq that:




"appear to lack any organized leadership"



according to the BBC continue in opposition to the government of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.   Protesters demonstrating against corruption.



Live ammunition being used by authorities with at least 25 dead since Tuesday and many hundreds injured.    The Iraqi government also reported to be restricting access to the Internet.


The United States calling for "restraint" by the government.

Iran's "Press TV" offers another version of the situation saying the curfew is to protect the Iraqi people and that protests are against "alleged economic problems".....LINK


Perhaps outside forces are stirring up the protest in Iraq as part of an anti-Iran strategy?



A leader of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps says an "Israeli-Arabic" plot to kill IRGC commander Gen. Qasem Soleimani has been foiled.



A director of the IRGC's Intelligence Service spoke to an assembly of IRGC commanders Thursday.

A government rocket hit an opposition position in Idlib province killing one and wounding nine others.   



MGM Resorts coming up with a settlement package for victims and their families of the mass murder attack on October 1, 2017 in Las Vegas.


The attacker Stephen Paddock fired from MGM's Mandalay Bay Resort.


58 killed and more than 400 wounded.     Hundreds of others injured in the stampede to escape.


The value of the settlement is between 735 and 800 million dollars.
