Those words from British journalist Peter Hitchens in his column this weekend indicating that the British government is prohibiting him from writing under a DSMA notice.
The restriction on Mr. Hitchens writing comes amidst the tensions over Ukraine where Mr. Hitchens has written on subjects deemed friendly to the Russian view of the situation such as Ukranian policies against Russian speaking citizens of Ukraine during the last three decades.
DSMA notices relate mainly to the operations of British military and intelligence agencies.
Mr. Hitchens also said this towards the end of his column this weekend:
"I never really believed there was a nuclear danger in the Cold War, which I lived through.
Now I think there is one.
Though this country is not actually at war with Russia, and has no defence treaty with Ukraine, politicians and other supporters of this conflict often refer to "we" when discussing it"...
