Then we got Richard Nixon who had an enemies list mostly the Lefties but Nixon considered Conservative radio preacher Dr. Carl McIntire ("Freedom Is Everybody's Business") a threat over his support for a military victory in the Vietnam War.
That preacher's radio station shut down on Fairness Doctrine grounds by Richard Nixon's Federal Communications Commission.
The Democrats may have invented the "Fairness Doctrine" in the days of Franklin Delano Roosevelt but the Republicans were just fine with using it on a Conservative radio preacher.
This game continues of shutting down opponents violating their free speech rights.

Well journalists Josh Gerstein and Alexander Ward broke a story this week in "Politico" its most read story ever online and they are likely to get the Woodward-Bernstein treatment for their work awards accolades.

IS ROE VS. WADE A WINNING "SOCCER MOM' MODERATE ISSUE FOR DEMOCRATS IN NOVEMBER?
The polling shows and I'm sure the Democrats know this that Roe vs. Wade has a majority of public opinion behind it but the Republicans are quick to respond that any Supreme Court decision pending on abortion would throw the issue back to the states not eliminate the right to an abortion nationwide.
As I noted last week the GOP is pushing transgender bans in youth sports and bans on sexual discussions with young children in school because they know most people oppose that.
Donald Trump speaks of parental consent being required for such discussions meaning he would allow them in some cases.
They are focus-grouped, emotional wedge issues with a majority of public opinion on their side.
Have the Democrats found their focus-grouped, emotional wedge issue with a Supreme Court ruling on Roe vs. Wade?
Yes it's possible but will it really matter in the economic tsunami that continues to build as we move towards Election Day in November.
And if protests break out over Roe vs. Wade and go too far become 'too extreme' the Democrats will lose there.
But a big bottom line here this draft ruling leaked out will allow abortion to remain legal in the United States because it will throw the issue back to the states and New York, California, New Jersey and other states will keep abortion wide open under those circumstances.

President Trump describes those jeering when he told people he got "booster shot" for COVID in his interview with Bill O'Reilly in December of last year (2021).
THE PRIMARY RESULTS FROM OHIO AND INDIANA AND VACCINE SENTIMENT IN AMERICA
I have data indicating that the hostility to COVID mandates and coerced COVID shots (vaccination) is more than just a "few people".
The data is from Indiana and Ohio the primary voting in the Republican Party.
But back to President Trump he spoke in Nebraska last Sunday night and touted "Operation Warp Speed" that partnership of Big Government and Big Business that produced COVID "vaccines" wanted to take a victory lap on what Trump sees as a major achievement but I noticed that he left the word "vaccine" out of his "Operation Warp Speed" sentence.
Trump was in Ohio in 2020 at a campaign rally and he praised Governor Mike DeWine Trump always spins COVID with the notion "Democrats handled it worse" but DeWine locked down his state and imposed a 10 pm to 5 am curfew.
And Ohioans booed DeWine and Lt. Governor John Husted profoundly at the Trump campaign rallies with DeWine responding with drama about people not wearing masks...
To push the "Dead Baby Jabs" DeWine also created a special lottery for the vaccinated.
No Trump endorsement for Governor in last Tuesday's primary for Governor in Ohio among the GOP with incumbent DeWine reduced to less than 50 percent of the vote in a multi-candidate race (48.1 percent)
Former liberal Republican Congressman Jim Renacci got closest to DeWine but then there was the strong anti-lockdown, anti-mandate candidate Joe Blystone.
Blystone supported freedom when it came to deciding about masks and vaccines.
Blystone 21.8 percent of the vote carried 23 of 88 Ohio counties out in the rural heartland Republicans need to win Ohio.
232,716 votes in the key state of Ohio going to the candidate most behind the freedom to decide about COVID "vaccines" COVID shots.
Now to Indiana some 100 seats in the State House and 50 in the State Senate and dozens of challengers to Republican incumbents focused on COVID mandates and restrictions and opposition to vaccine coercion.
Five of 26 "far-right" candidates did win last Tuesday in Indiana in the GOP primary.
In "soccer mom" territory the Indianapolis area the "anti-vax" candidate Chrystal Sisson scored only 25.1 percent of the vote against a GOP Establishment RINO incumbent (District 88).
But move out further into Johnson County south of Indy District 47 and the outsider Robb Greene pulls 48 percent of the vote in a crowded field leaving the incumbent RINO John Young back at 30 percent.
And in one other success story Lorissa Sweet winning the primary in District 50 the southwest side of Fort Wayne over RINO incumbent Dan Leonard it was 57 to 43 percent.
Lorissa Sweet has this to say on her campaign website when you scroll down...SWEET FOR INDIANA...
"I will fight for your right to make decisions concerning the health of you and your family, your children's education and your ability to work and worship unhindered"
That "small group of people" who don't support coerced COVID shots are out there in large numbers in the heartland numbers too large to ignore.

I personally will vote for Kathy Barnette on that day but I can accept Dr. Oz as the GOP candidate if he wins.
