A century ago 1922 Pennsylvania was the second largest US state with 36 Congressional Districts and now following the latest census another district eliminated bringing the Keystone State down to just 17 in this election year 2022.

REPUBLICAN STATE SENATOR DOUG MASTRIANO CAMPAIGNS FOR GOVERNOR OF PENNSYLVANIA IN WILKES-BARRE 5/13/2022
US Army Colonel Doug Mastriano ended his military career teaching at the US Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and transitioned into politics winning election to the State Senate. Then came COVID and Mastriano began to get involved with small businesses like Round The Clock Diner here in York, Pennsylvania whose two locations defied Governor Tom Wolf's lockdown order.
They call Mastriano the "far-right" candidate but he has embraced the notion of helping Pennsylvanians who are "special needs" and the elderly who populate the state in large numbers.
Early in his State Senate career Mastriano interacted with human services agencies of the state government leaving a positive impression with government employees at least in the case of my own wife a Democrat and now retired government bureaucrat.
Mastriano won the endorsement of President Trump last week who's struggling to get support for US Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz but weeks before that Mastriano endorsed Republican US Senate candidate Kathy Barnette...

A Susquehanna Poll released today in the wake of the Emerson Poll last night.
This poll points to a tight race for US Senate 28 percent for Dr. Mehmet Oz and 27 percent for Kathy Barnette with David McCormick way back at 11 percent.
In the race for Governor State Senator Doug Mastriano leading with 29 percent, former federal prosecutor Bill McSwain at 18 percent, former Congressman Lou Barletta with 15 percent and business man Dave White 8 percent...
