SO MANY HUMAN BEINGS WOUNDED AND HURT BY OTHERS IN A MULTITUDE OF WAYS BEFORE THE GUNFIRE ERUPTS TO WOUND AND HURT VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES
THOSE HURTS AND WOUNDS LEAD TO CONNECTION WITH 'DRUGS' LEGAL AND ILLEGAL, ADULT BEVERAGES, PORN ETC. ETC.
I GOTTA WANT WHAT'S BEST FOR OTHER PEOPLE IN THE END NOT SOMETHING BAD FOR THEM BECAUSE I GOT A DIFFERENCE WITH THEM ABOUT SOMETHING.
THE GOLDEN RULE DO UNTO OTHERS HAS BEEN TURNED ON ITS HEAD. OMG!
NO POLITICAL OR LEGAL PRESCRIPTION WILL CHANGE THAT MAYBE TOO MANY MEDICAL PRESCRIPTIONS FOR ANTI-DEPRESSANTS OUT THERE

I DON'T CARE WHO SAYS IT EVEN DONALD TRUMP SAYS IT BEWARE OF THE MENTAL HEALTH NOTION BEING "THE SOLUTION" ALLOWING THAT IDEA TO CREEP IN TO ALLOW THE MASS IMPRISONMENT OF PEOPLE AGAIN IN MENTAL INSTITUTIONS.
THAT WOULD BE HORRIBLE I SAW IT I WAS THERE I WAS TAKEN ON A TOUR OF SUCH A FACILITY IN MY YOUTH.
"MENTAL HEALTH" WILL MEAN THE POLITICIANS DEFINING "MENTAL ILLNESS" BY WHICH POLITICAL PARTY HAPPENS TO HOLD POWER AT A PARTICULAR TIME IN A PARTICULAR PLACE.
At the end of the day in Georgia earlier this year a comprehensive mental health law was signed off on by Governor Brian Kemp supported in general by the R's and D's like Stacey Abrams. Only a few Libertarian Republicans raised any alarm.

Been reading the "Cronkite" biography written by historian Douglas Brinkley. Uncle Walter a model for good journalism regardless of his political biases.
Walter Cronkite had disdain for the one story being killed into the ground mentality of media today wall-to-wall single story obsession.

BLAST FROM THE PAST-COLOR TV DEVELOPMENT IN THE 1950'S
The winner in Color TV was NBC as I mentioned earlier.
During World War 2 they made NBC's David Sarnoff a Brigadier General and William Paley of CBS only made Colonel so that sums the Media Pecking Order for Washington DC.
NBC went all out on color in the 1950's until the economy slowed at the end of the 50's NBC was able to become a 30 percent color network as it moved into the early 1960's would not go for 100 percent until the 1965-66 television season which came after the tax cuts of 1964 and before "Great Society Inflation" would again muck up the economy.
The next video is a dedication ceremony for a color studio in Northwest Washington DC as NBC opened up its new facilities in the Nation's Capital in 1958. It's called the oldest surviving color videotape recording. By 1958 videotape technology existed.
In this video you see David Sarnoff "General Sarnoff" his son Robert Sarnoff who would lead NBC later in the 1960's and 70's and the President of the United States Dwight Eisenhower makes a dedication speech...
