Veterans for Freedom involved in this morning's rally, the "Rolling Thunder"motorcycle procession associated with that group.
This afternoon's rally associated with a group called "Freedom Fighters Canada".
Police this morning surrounded a small group of 'counter protesters' gathered at a distance from the War Memorial.

What I can say in Mr. Trump's favor is that he envisions getting the money back and more.

1. Donald Trump holds China responsible for COVID
2. Donald Trump has called for China to pay 60 trillion dollars in reparations.
If you're angry with Trump over the COVID spending that's something to consider.
I BELIEVE THAT PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP IS THE 'RINO VACCINE'.
THERE ARE SIDE EFFECTS BUT TRUMP IS THE 'EMERGENCY TREATMENT' THE POLITICAL SYSTEM NEEDS AT THIS POINT
AND JUST LIKE THE COVID SHOTS YOU GET THE RINO VIRUS AFTERWARDS BECAUSE PEOPLE TRUMP SUPPORTS COME OUT AS RINOS AFTER THE ELECTIONS SOMETIMES THEY ARE RINO'S TO BEGIN WITH.

So Ron DeSantis signs a law saying you can't talk sexual subjects with five, six, seven and eight year olds in school he signs off on something that a majority of people agree with.
That's what Karl Rove advised, Frank Luntz focus grouped politicians do. They embrace issues with a majority of public opinion behind them to win elections.
Now you know why all these Republicans go for the laws that keep transgenders out of youth sports.
Those "soccer moms" out there and sports parents in general don't want their daughters to become also rans in youth sports because others with a male appendage show up and outperform them.
The Republicans offend the LGBTQ activists from positions that enjoy a majority of public opinion behind them in the Karl Rove tradition of creating emotional "wedge issues" for election years.
If you think the Republicans are running "Conservative" on LGBTQ and transgenderism you are mistaken don't be astroturfed (gaslit) by the media on the Right and Left out there the GOP runs in the middle and it's being considered Conservative by the media who program you and arouse you to the false narrative-conclusion.
I've watched the moral decline over the years and the challenge for the LGBTQ activists now is how can they turn this around to get the ball moving further down the road they want to go.
Without the "Trump Factor" in the GOP the Karl Rove Republicans now playing this moderate positioning on LGBTQ issues will eventually be outflanked and be falling back in the years to come to a more liberal position.

There's a song I heard and enjoyed back in the mid-1970's I was a country music fan Melba Montgomery did a Number One Hit before this "No Charge" and this was the follow up that only got to Number 21 on the country charts.
Good Song.
But I just don't think the audience was ready to embrace this song and its utterly true meaning and application.
I certainly was not ready to live my life by the words in that song and I was listening to the radio preachers and getting the "Old Time Religion" drilled into me back then in 1975.

When I went to the university some 40 years ago I majored in media and movies are media. I loved looking at the books in the library and in the film-movies section whoa plenty of pictures of women without clothes.
And there were the Swedish film catalogs from the 1960's whoa and from the Netherlands a 1970's film catalog and yes that Dutch film catalog reinforced the notion of how utterly pornographic The Netherlands was becoming.
You could see porn over the air on Dutch TV in the 1970's my mother once worked for the State Department and her friend came back from The Hague after service at the embassy saying you could watch it on TV in your living room back then no shame nothing left to the imagination.

The theme music from the Academy Award winning film "Chariots of Fire" recounting the story of the British Olympic runners of 1924 a very patriotic British pride film among other things.
Britain suffered a major setback in World War I and don't forget the civil war and loss of most of Ireland in its aftermath World War I set the UK and the World on the pathway to where we are right here and now.
The 1924 British Olympians offered a much needed boost to a very battered country.

This week I am recalling 40 years ago May 1, 1982 I was News Director of the student news staff for a full power FM radio station of a major university in a major city.
The station having its fundraiser that Saturday morning at a remote location on campus. I was asked to hang out at master control I had the FCC license to take the transmitter readings and so on.
But the AP machine was clanging just after 6 am breaking news and here are the visuals of some of what happened that morning as reported by Argentina's Channel 7 in Buenos Aires the official government channel...VIDEO LINK (TOTAL VIDEO 27 MINUTES)
I would have a long 12 hour day that day later moving to the remote location for the broadcast answering the phones for the donations, requests etc. etc.
The DJ's and Public Affairs people of the station extremely "Left-Wing" or "Woke" as we call it nowadays" and virtually 100 percent "People of Color".
Plenty of calls coming in from guys in prison doing time for crime many of them figuring "The Man" had sent them there as in "The White Man".
I was a "Stranger In A Strange Land" that day.
The News Department 95 percent white and one-third Jewish the Lefties cool to a group with that composition and some negative feeling among the news people I worked with towards them.
I spent 12 hours helping out that day finding myself hungry, angry, lonely and tired at the end of it.
I went got a bite to eat and then emerging from the dining area I encountered well I encountered a woman who was a friend of mine a supporter a mentor a woman on a pathway to a closer relationship with the God Of Her Understanding.
We were both in the religious subculture of the campus and the girls there engaged in socialization tactics with boys like me I was a "boy" six years old inside physically 20 some on the outside but inside a child living in the fantasy world not the real one yet.
It was horribly difficult for males to socialize with females in our subculture well I guess because guys like me were sick living in fantasy infatuation and lust the girls that wanted me to take them out on dates didn't know how dirty and sick my mind was.
Men and women lived in close quarters some dorms classified at "co-ed" females and males mixed on the same floors. There was a lot to see in a voyeuristic way windows everywhere for outside viewing a lot to see walking the hallways like I did.
So I encountered this woman who had given me the card introducing herself as my "sister" who had shared her experience in the Faith, the Scripture, prayed with me. I felt like asking this woman out on dates on a few occasions. And we did socialize to my benefit as I recall all this today.
This woman could be challenging pushing me in front of her in dark places at night in the big city prodding me to be her 'protector' being an example of what was right. She prodded me to ask other girls in the religious subculture to go on dates.
This woman also connected me with a Pro-Life newsletter that I began to write articles for among other things.
Well this woman says to me:
"I'm lonely"
and I respond by saying:
"I'm lonely too"

A sampling of some top songs in Contemporary Christian Music in 1982 this was before commercialism really kicked in and the cookie-cutter universal songs that crossed music formats emerged.
Back to the story of May 1st, 1982 and I was telling you about a woman who was influencing my life and what happened that evening...
So I went back to my place got my bag together to study for finals which were coming up next week the end of the semester the end of my senior year my graduation pending.
I went back to her place and entered her room she had changed clothes she wore running shorts instead of blue jeans my mind raced seeing her sitting on the bed like that. 1982 style shorts shorter than nowadays.
I had seen plenty of girls during my travels in the residence halls one night I turned around and left right away seeing another friend in her pajamas.
The weather was hot no air conditioning in the room heck but that notion of Mae West from a bygone era "Let me slip into something more comfortable" these were the kind of clothes many girls slept in that's what I was confronted with.
Well we got to sit down at the table that lined the wall near the window and each of us studying for our final exams. A visitor came by to break up things for a few minutes.
After some two hours or so it was around 9 pm I had pulled out my device (transistor radio) and earplug listened to CBS News on the hour with Bob Schieffer in Buenos Aires traveling with Secretary of State Alexander Haig talking with the UK and Argentina.
The moment seemed right to break away return to my place.
And I parted arms reaching out from both of us to hug each other. That was a common form of socializing among us in the religious subculture.
I had a rough two hours reviewing my shame and guilt at times instead of studying for my finals.
I was considering my lustful thoughts my wrong actions my David and Bathsheba voyeuristic encounters of my years on the campus.
At one point I noted the situation without admitting my guilt to her in our occasional conversation.
It would take me decades to admit the truth about myself seek help take the direction of others.
As for my dear female friend she was already taking that path through her involvement in a church taking the plunge of baptism, accepting the shepherding of elders in the church she joined.
It was a good church that had sound doctrine not polluted by the kind of emotion and politics that other churches were poisoned with IMHO.
She would move off the campus find a job live with other women to protect her from potentially bad situations.
Bad situations that could emerge in encounters with men.
I went to this woman's wedding. She and her husband went on to other things I will not discuss them they are that sensitive but yeah I was able to watch some really bold ministry from that couple.
Amen.
